Achromatic would peep out from behind some rubble, staring at the BLU. He was horrendously un-sneaky, so it was pretty obvious he was there. Achrome then ducked back beneath a large, rusting chunk of scrap metal, his knees popping as he did so.

Sergeant glanced at the Spy and double takes, he doesn't look like a BLU or RED... at all to be exact but he doesn't mind Achromatic and turns away to smoke

Achromatic clumsily attempted a roll, knocking over something glass. He immediately stood up, pursing his lips as he stared.

"Hello." Achromatic greeted, a little too far away to be heard properly.

Achromatic has a few twigs decorating his body now, and he was quite dusty from the half-assed roll. Quietly, he brushed himself off, a few billowing rolls of dust coming off of him.

"Greetings."

Sergeant said, his deep voice slightly tinted with a German voice toughened from years of training recruits in his prime,

he gently blew smoke in the direction he's facing. His eyes were shadowed because of his hat so it wasn't easy on what he's feeling at the moment

Achrome swung his arms a little, furrowing his brow, as if thinking, before he started walking over.

"So... hows the weather?"

Achromatic grinned oddly, the smile clearly nervous. He gave Sargent a thumbs up before letting it fall, watching the cigarette smoke, his gaze slowly going from.the cigarette to Sarg's face. Achrome squinted, trying to decipher his expression..

"Cold... decaying... I don't like it."

Sergeant crushed the cigarette with his sausage fingers, his hands were large. Could probably engulf Achromatic's skinny ones if he wanted to.

"Right. Right."

Achromatic nodded quickly, suddenly looking a tad spooked. He cleared his throat, composing himself.

"I mean, it is pretty chilly, I see what you mean. Better than being cooked alive though, ammright?" Achromatic did finger-guns towards him, visibly sweating.

*Dear god, was he going to get crushed to death? This soldier..? Man! This man just crushed his LIT cigarette via his bare hands, and that is usually an indicator of anger, so oh boy. This was not good. Not like he was scared or anything though- He's not scared of some.. big dude who could... easily rip out his jugular veins...*

Achromatic was sweating bullets, and just staring at Sargent with wide eyes that were creased by a nervous smile.

Sergeant turns to look at him, his eyes fully visible and my god, they were beautiful but tired brown eyes. He looks annoyed, not at Achromatic but at the damn weather. He doesn't like the cold, not a single bit. (Lore drop: he froze to death before getting sent to TF2)

Achromatic just stared at him, now rubbing his gloved hands together. Swiftly, he turned on his heel, reaching into his suit. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes aswell as a lighter, flicking it open with his thumb. He laughed, the noise filled with nerves, though he was beginning to let his guard down, as he hasn't been attacked yet. Shaking his head slightly, he put a cigarette inbetween his lips and lit it. It's a miracle he's able to smoke without fucking dying.

"... What's your name?"

Sergeant asked, genuinely curious now. He's never seen a Spy this GREY before... I wouldn't blame him, I would've asked too

"Oh. It's Marcel. Marcel Durand." Achrome nodded, eyes flicking towards Sargent as he took a slow inhale.Smoke slowly danced from his lips as he exhaled, the tendrils curling away from him.

"You?" Achromatic inquired, quirking a slim eyebrow up (?) at him.

"The name's Marsón."

Sergeant said calmly, they almost had the same name pronunciation, how odd

"We have very similar names!" Achromatic grinned with a soft huff akin to a laugh. He seemed to be much more relaxed now, his shoulders resting. His baggy clothing slightly ruffled in the wind, making him grumble a little.

"... what's wrong?"

Sergeant asked, hearing Achromatic's grumble

"The wind messes up my clothes." Achromatic replied, eyes flicking over towards Sargent. The wind didn't actually mess up his clothes, moreso it messed up the 'illusion' or not being as skinny as he was.

"... you look fine."

Sergeant replied back, looking confused

>"Not fine." Achrome huffed, then schooled himself back to normal. His gloved hands held the bottom of his coat tight, as to not let the wind reveal how malnourished he seemed.

>"Am I allowed inside, or must we stay out here?" He inquired, squinting slightly at Sarg, very different from his usual deer-in-headlights expression.

"Sure... it's freezing out here anyway..."

Sergeant heads inside, holding the door for Achromatic as he patiently wait for him to come in

"Thank you," Achromatic immediately lightened when he got inside, away from the wind. He brushed out his coat and everything momentarily before putting out his joint. Now in a better mood, he looked around, taking in his surroundings. Achrome hasn't explored BLU base yet. It seemed to be atleast cleaner than RED base, he noticed. Sleek floors, concrete walls... the works.

"No problem..."

Sergeant nodded, closing the door as snow began to pour down, he frowned at it before relaxing as he looked back at Achromactic.

Achromatic awkwardly brushed snow off of his head, aswell as managing to un-stick the twigs and such that had hitched a ride on his coat. After doing so, he looked over at Sargent. The base seemed slightly empty, so he atleast was thankful that he probably wouldn't be murdered.

Dear god, did these people ever dust their shelves-- or anything for that matter??? Achromatic hunched over slightly, clearing his throat, his throat feeling a tad scratchy.

"Oh shit-"

Sergeant than grabbed a spare inhaler from the shelf, he kept those for some reason... and fucking shoved it into Achromatic's mouth.

"Breathe, damn it."

Achromatic nearly choked on the inhaler before he took it out of his mouth. He then used it properly. Inhaling, the scratchiness of his throat went away slightly, though still felt a little tight. He huffed.

> "You have family members who have asthma or something?? You caught that quick."

"No... I was an only child, plus my wife divorced me and took my son with her."

Sergeant simply stated, as if that incident didn't cause his PTSD to become even worse.

Achromatic winced slightly, his eyes crinkling. Awkward.

Sergeant gently patted Achromatic's back, being careful not to hurt him

Achromatic awkwardly smiled before looking aside. He shuddered slightly, a chill running down his neck. The remaining snow that had hitched a ride on his coat had started to melt slightly.

Achromatic inquired, taking off the overcoat. Not shockingly, his light gray undershirt was also horrendously baggy, though it was atleast tucked into his pants.

"Just some trinkets and gifts my teammates gave me, that's the shelf where I keep my books, that's where I keep my photos and that's the one where I keep my old things."

Sergeant said and explained, pointing and gesturing to each shelf. There was a small gun on the book shelf, probably still usable.

"Nice."

Achromatic shuffled over towards the shelf, a gentle, idle limp in his walk.

"What's the gun for?"

He inquired, turning a little at the waist to stare at him. Achrome's eyes were right back to being their normal wide shape.

"Incase someone tries to kill me. Even though I can punch and throw hands, I just like the feel of the recoil."

Sergeant simply, sitting on the couch

Achromatic nodded, though looked slightly offput. His eyes were crinkled oncemore with slight nerves, though he schooled it away.

He mumbled, still looking at the stuff on the shelving.

Sergeant sat there, waiting for Achromactic's next action.

Achromatic and Sargent fell into an awkward silence that lasted a few moments too long, both occasionally glancing at eachother. With a soft sigh, Achromatic walked towards the couch. After giving Sargent a silent look asking if he could sit, he did so. The couch's leather was worn, but comfy, curving around his weight next to Sargent. Occasionally, Achromatic would glance over towards Sargent, clearly looking for something to talk about.

"So... do you just wander around? Like a ghost?"

Sergeant asked quietly, turning his head towards him

Achromatic chuffed, joking about his obviously less-than-optimal condition.

Sergeant chuckled softly, the first laugh he had in this conversation of theirs. He's already becoming fond of this peculiar Spy.

"Well, aren't you a funny one?"

A smile crept back onto Achromatic's face, and he was obviously relaxing as of now. Melting back into the couch, he stared at Sargent, clearly proud he got a laugh.

"Well you've succeeded."

Sergeant gently added, a soft chuckle following after

Achromatic's smile immediately widened, proud of making Sargent laugh.

He chuckled momentarily, dark brown eyes locking onto Sargent's. After a second of eye contact, the stuff on Sargent's uniform caught his eye. Pointing at it, his eyes flicked back to Sargent's.

>"What's with the medals and such?--Or.. are those medals??..-- I don't think Mann co would spend such riches on a merc, what are they from?"

"No... Mann co would not. But these are my badges, I'm a high ranked—or class... Military Sergeant. I'm retired... and decided to work here as a Mercenary... Strange how this work, Nein?"

Sergeant replied, gently tapping his badges to prove that they were real

Achromatic's eyes locked onto Sargent's hand, specifically on the finger that tapped on the badges. In the fluorescent lighting of the BLU base, the badges glinted a little.

(If it's the type of badge that is mostly fabric and you clip on your pocket, just pretend its the thing thats holding them on there thats glinting. my memory is too shit to even remember what achromatic looks like let alone other characters LMAFO)

>"That's so cool, what all did you do?? Gosh, It must've been fun. I haven't ever served or done any real combat work or anything dangerous. I'm just some mis-happed clone. What was it like?- Or, what is it like?"

Clearly, Achromatic was fully relaxed, openly talking in long strings. He wasn't copying Sargent much anymore, noticably, though he was a tad insensitive. Most likely wasn't on purpose, as as he said, he has zero experience nor knowledge on real combat.

Leaning forward on his haunches, Achromatic stayed staring at Sargent. Achrome really had a staring problem, especially because he subconsciously kept his eyes scarily wide. Like it's odd how wide they get when he's actively listening.

"Gunshots, explosions, immense training, deaths of comrades... day after day... for years. I saw all of it, my friends... all died right before my eyes while I stayed here, suffering. Even though I'm not in that hellhole anymore... this job of being a mercenary doesn't really help... at least it helps me with controlling my PTSD. You don't wanna be there."

Sergeant explained with a frown, his voice tinting with a bit of fear and trauma as he recalls the horrifying in the war but it relaxes in the last few words.

He was suffering from PTSD and this job doesn't really help that much... just makes it a bit worse in fact...

"Hello." Achromatic greeted, a little too far away to be heard properly.

Achromatic has a few twigs decorating his body now, and he was quite dusty from the half-assed roll. Quietly, he brushed himself off, a few billowing rolls of dust coming off of him.

Clearly, Achromatic was fully relaxed, openly talking in long strings. He wasn't copying Sargent much anymore, noticably, though he was a tad insensitive. Most likely wasn't on purpose, as as he said, he has zero experience nor knowledge on real combat.

Leaning forward on his haunches, Achromatic stayed staring at Sargent. Achrome really had a staring problem, especially because he subconsciously kept his eyes scarily wide. Like it's odd how wide they get when he's actively listening.

"Gunshots, explosions, immense training, deaths of comrades... day after day... for years. I saw all of it, my friends... all died right before my eyes while I stayed here, suffering. Even though I'm not in that hellhole anymore... this job of being a mercenary doesn't really help... at least it helps me with controlling my PTSD. You don't wanna be there."

Sergeant explained with a frown, his voice tinting with a bit of fear and trauma as he recalls the horrifying in the war but it relaxes in the last few words.

He was suffering from PTSD and this job doesn't really help that much... just makes it a bit worse in fact...

Achromatic would peep out from behind some rubble, staring at the BLU. He was horrendously un-sneaky, so it was pretty obvious he was there. Achrome then ducked back beneath a large, rusting chunk of scrap metal, his knees popping as he did so.

Sergeant glanced at the Spy and double takes, he doesn't look like a BLU or RED... at all to be exact but he doesn't mind Achromatic and turns away to smoke

Achromatic clumsily attempted a roll, knocking over something glass. He immediately stood up, pursing his lips as he stared.

"Hello." Achromatic greeted, a little too far away to be heard properly.

Achromatic has a few twigs decorating his body now, and he was quite dusty from the half-assed roll. Quietly, he brushed himself off, a few billowing rolls of dust coming off of him.

Sergeant said, his deep voice slightly tinted with a German voice toughened from years of training recruits in his prime,

he gently blew smoke in the direction he's facing. His eyes were shadowed because of his hat so it wasn't easy on what he's feeling at the moment

It's a miracle he's able to smoke without fucking dying.

Achromatic shuffled over towards the shelf, a gentle, idle limp in his walk.

"What's the gun for?"

He inquired, turning a little at the waist to stare at him. Achrome's eyes were right back to being their normal wide shape.

Achromatic would peep out from behind some rubble, staring at the BLU. He was horrendously un-sneaky, so it was pretty obvious he was there. Achrome then ducked back beneath a large, rusting chunk of scrap metal, his knees popping as he did so.

"Hello." Achromatic greeted, a little too far away to be heard properly.

Achromatic has a few twigs decorating his body now, and he was quite dusty from the half-assed roll. Quietly, he brushed himself off, a few billowing rolls of dust coming off of him.

Achromatic nodded quickly, suddenly looking a tad spooked. He cleared his throat, composing himself.

"I mean, it is pretty chilly, I see what you mean. Better than being cooked alive though, ammright?" Achromatic did finger-guns towards him, visibly sweating.

*Dear god, was he going to get crushed to death? This soldier..? Man! This man just crushed his LIT cigarette via his bare hands, and that is usually an indicator of anger, so oh boy. This was not good. Not like he was scared or anything though- He's not scared of some.. big dude who could... easily rip out his jugular veins...*

Achromatic was sweating bullets, and just staring at Sargent with wide eyes that were creased by a nervous smile.

Sergeant turns to look at him, his eyes fully visible and my god, they were beautiful but tired brown eyes. He looks annoyed, not at Achromatic but at the damn weather. He doesn't like the cold, not a single bit. (Lore drop: he froze to death before getting sent to TF2)

Achromatic just stared at him, now rubbing his gloved hands together. Swiftly, he turned on his heel, reaching into his suit. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes aswell as a lighter, flicking it open with his thumb. He laughed, the noise filled with nerves, though he was beginning to let his guard down, as he hasn't been attacked yet. Shaking his head slightly, he put a cigarette inbetween his lips and lit it. It's a miracle he's able to smoke without fucking dying.

"... What's your name?"

Sergeant asked, genuinely curious now. He's never seen a Spy this GREY before... I wouldn't blame him, I would've asked too

"Oh. It's Marcel. Marcel Durand." Achrome nodded, eyes flicking towards Sargent as he took a slow inhale.Smoke slowly danced from his lips as he exhaled, the tendrils curling away from him.

"You?" Achromatic inquired, quirking a slim eyebrow up (?) at him.

"The name's Marsón."

Sergeant said calmly, they almost had the same name pronunciation, how odd

"We have very similar names!" Achromatic grinned with a soft huff akin to a laugh. He seemed to be much more relaxed now, his shoulders resting. His baggy clothing slightly ruffled in the wind, making him grumble a little.

"... what's wrong?"

Sergeant asked, hearing Achromatic's grumble

"The wind messes up my clothes." Achromatic replied, eyes flicking over towards Sargent. The wind didn't actually mess up his clothes, moreso it messed up the 'illusion' or not being as skinny as he was.

"... you look fine."

Sergeant replied back, looking confused

>"Not fine." Achrome huffed, then schooled himself back to normal. His gloved hands held the bottom of his coat tight, as to not let the wind reveal how malnourished he seemed.

>"Am I allowed inside, or must we stay out here?" He inquired, squinting slightly at Sarg, very different from his usual deer-in-headlights expression.

"Sure... it's freezing out here anyway..."

Sergeant heads inside, holding the door for Achromatic as he patiently wait for him to come in

"Thank you," Achromatic immediately lightened when he got inside, away from the wind. He brushed out his coat and everything momentarily before putting out his joint. Now in a better mood, he looked around, taking in his surroundings. Achrome hasn't explored BLU base yet. It seemed to be atleast cleaner than RED base, he noticed. Sleek floors, concrete walls... the works.

"No problem..."

Sergeant nodded, closing the door as snow began to pour down, he frowned at it before relaxing as he looked back at Achromactic.

Achromatic awkwardly brushed snow off of his head, aswell as managing to un-stick the twigs and such that had hitched a ride on his coat. After doing so, he looked over at Sargent. The base seemed slightly empty, so he atleast was thankful that he probably wouldn't be murdered.

Dear god, did these people ever dust their shelves-- or anything for that matter??? Achromatic hunched over slightly, clearing his throat, his throat feeling a tad scratchy.

"Oh shit-"

Sergeant than grabbed a spare inhaler from the shelf, he kept those for some reason... and fucking shoved it into Achromatic's mouth.

"Breathe, damn it."

Achromatic would peep out from behind some rubble, staring at the BLU. He was horrendously un-sneaky, so it was pretty obvious he was there. Achrome then ducked back beneath a large, rusting chunk of scrap metal, his knees popping as he did so.

Sergeant glanced at the Spy and double takes, he doesn't look like a BLU or RED... at all to be exact but he doesn't mind Achromatic and turns away to smoke

Achromatic clumsily attempted a roll, knocking over something glass. He immediately stood up, pursing his lips as he stared.

"Hello." Achromatic greeted, a little too far away to be heard properly.

Achromatic has a few twigs decorating his body now, and he was quite dusty from the half-assed roll. Quietly, he brushed himself off, a few billowing rolls of dust coming off of him.

"Greetings."

Sergeant said, his deep voice slightly tinted with a German voice toughened from years of training recruits in his prime,

he gently blew smoke in the direction he's facing. His eyes were shadowed because of his hat so it wasn't easy on what he's feeling at the moment

Achrome swung his arms a little, furrowing his brow, as if thinking, before he started walking over.

"So... hows the weather?"
