Yuui had puffed cheeks as he looked to the side. Just an hour before this, his brother just went up and give his neck a sneak attack of teeth which made him blush and spill the papers that he had. Needless to say, he was a bit mortified.

Fai held his brother and started to run his fingers through his hair. “It looks like your cuddle meter was lower than mine was. Sorry for not realizing it sooner.” He whispered softly to him.

He closed his eyes as small hearts were popping out of his head as he hummed. “It has been a very long week, brother.” He weakly whined.

“I’m here if you want to talk about it.” He told his twin softly as he continued to run his fingers through Yuui’s hair.

“….I guess I’m having one of /those/ days again.” When he’ll just be quiet and melancholy, when he needed to do something or else he’ll be left with his thoughts and he didn’t want that. Because it was hard sometimes to come back up from it.

Fai placed a light kiss to his head. “Well then shall we do something to take your mind off of those things? I think we’re in need of some shopping.” He offered with a small smile.

Fai stopped and turned to look at him. “Your rather annoying you know that.” He told him as he made his way over to him once more. The prince only stopped when he was right in front of him, from that distance he could see that he was just barely shorter than the other man. “I don’t care if you don’t believe in the curse or not, but I live with this curse everyday and I will not allow a lowly commoner like yourself to step into my property and claim that this is all a hoax and that your bored and frustrated.” He told him annoyed.

Fai followed him holding his staff in one hand and some of the easier to carry items in the other hand. He kept an eye out around them as they walked making sure that nothing came up behind them or tried to jump at them. His blue eyes watched the area carefully even as they reached the second floor. “Nothing seems out of place, but I dont think we should relax any until we make sure that we get the staircase secured.” He mused out loud as the blonde looked around.

As quietly as he could manage, Kurogane emptied the bucket in a pile inside the bedroom, careful when he set the wood saw down near so he didn’t risk personal injury or damage to the blade. “Good to be guarded, but we can ease up some after we check that each room of this place has been secured and is zombie free. Should wait till after we get all the supplies up though before we start closing off rooms and more importantly, the stairs.“

Fai nodded agreeing to what he said. “Yea, it would be easier that way.” He told him and walked towards the door to check out into the hallway to double check that there was nothing there. “Alright so we have the saw, some wood. Now we just need to make that levy system that you mentioned to bring up supplies with while we’re up here.” He said looking back at the other man.

“Yeah and we need to make it strong enough to levy up the supplies and be able to lift either one of us should zombies be coming… Once it’s build and we think it’s ready, since I’m likely to be heavier, I can be the test weight for it,” Kurogane offered himself up as levy bait.

“The test for the weight..” He thought for a moment. “It would be best to use you since you are a bit heavier.” He said before giving a small sigh. “But I hate just leaving you down there by yourself in case something happens, but we do need to make sure the levy system works.”

Once Yuui placed the pen down Fai grinned since he won. “Good~” He said happily wrapping his arms around his twin and held him happily.

The contact and the warmth from his twin made his frustration and stress levels go down dramatically as he leaned into the embrace.

Fai had been frustrated with his day and that frustration had stayed with him even as he went home. No matter what he tried he seemed to fail at everything that day and to make it worse he accidentally took out his frustration and anger on his twin. So when Yuui had grabbed his wrist it came as a surprise. “Yuui please.. I just want to get away from everything right now. I’m having a terrible day and i don’t want to take it out on you again.”

Fai grinned mischievously when Yuui told him that he could come up with the ideas. He turned to his twin. “How about this year we’re vampires?” He said still grinning. “We may even be able to get Kuro-chii in on this as well~”

Yuui hummed in thought. “You say that but I don’t picture Kurogane being the type of guy to really dress up. Unless forced.” The man should get an award for just surviving against his brother and Yuuko-sensei for years before he came along.

The idea of forcing Kurogane into a costume brought an evil grin to Fai’s lips. “You know, he will deserve to be forced into a costume.” He told him since it had been Kurogane that made Fai’s day rough.

Yuui sighed as he placed the red pen down. “I guess so.” It was getting late but he would have been done if not for the mishap. “Fine, I’m done for now.” He yawned.

Once Yuui placed the pen down Fai grinned since he won. “Good~” He said happily wrapping his arms around his twin and held him happily.

Fai pouted more when he was slightly scolded. “But Yuui, you’ve been working on that all night. My cuddle meter is low! It needs recharging!” He told him and motioned to the space above him as if an actual meter was there.

That made him bit his lip to keep down a smile. No, he should be angry. He had a right to and if he smiled then it was all for nothing. Or so he was assuming. And the fact that his eyes were beginning to look like an owl’s.

Fai hummed when he heard that Halloween was close. “Thats right, Halloween is close isn’t it? Maybe we should dress up this year and hand out candy.” He offered with a small smile. He knew that Yuui wasn’t being on the holiday but Fai enjoyed handing out candy and he usually always roped Yuui into as well.

“Ugh, I’ll leave the costume ideas to you. But be reasonable, I won’t go out with you if you make me be bo-peep again.” It was a super embarrassing not only because of that, but that Fai went as the sheep. “But yeah, I should buy some candy, I’ve been meaning to do so.”

Fai glared at the man as he talked back to him. “Superstition? Dead?” He asked in a low tone. With a deep breath he nodded. “Alright fine. If that is what you believe, then please stay a few nights in my castle and we’ll see what you believe is real after.” He said motioning inside of the castle.  “Don’t worry, I don’t bite. Yet.” He said before entering the castle himself.

Even if he didn’t yet believe this man was the owner, it was appreciated to get the offer to stay a few nights rather than barge inside and impose.

“Oh great; I will have a teething problem to worry about later…whats next, changing your knickers when I haven’t left before the full moon?“ Kurogane said sardonically as he followed after Fai inside the castle doors.

Fai’s eye twitched from Kurogane’s comment. “If your smart you’ll leave before the full moon.” He retorted as he walked through the main room in the castle. “Don’t go to the west wing. Thats my area and its, forbidden. Though your more than welcome to explore where ever your little human heart desires.”  The prince turned and started to head towards the west wing to get away from Kurogane.

Yuui laughed a bit. “Not sure, I do want to teach them how to use food coloring to make Halloween treats since it’s going to be that time one again.” He wasn’t too keen on the holiday but he liked the decorations and such and children love it as well.

“You made me…spill my paperwork…” Yuui then finally looked at him. “Yuuko-sensei told me to file them in a specific order and had the paper ordered as such for those folders they were supposed to go into.” It tickled but no, still peeved.

“Well aside from a small mishap during the afternoon class, it was okay.” Yuui smiled. “I was teaching the students how to do flambe and well maybe I jumped the gun on that. One of the students created a much bigger flame then they thought. Not damage but I think it’s a bit too much for just home ed students.” He chuckled.
