is there such a thing as a spell (or portable charm/witchball or similar) to make you "believe your own hype"? i'm working through some longtime anxiety and scrupulosity issues with a therapist right now, and one of the things we've been discussing is the idea that your thoughts aren't facts and that my own perceived *shortcomings* or *failures* aren't going to cause the universe to punish me. these are things that i can comprehend intellectually, but in the moment of the stress or ocd trigger, they all seem like nonsense. so i began thinking of a way to make myself some kind of charm or similar to carry with me that would remind me (and make it easier to accept/internalize) these positive messages. like a positivity/hope/trust-the-process type charm? is that a thing...or are there certain components i could put together to make it a thing?

You know, we talk about glamour magic so often in terms of our interactions with others, but we're only beginning to scratch the surface of using those same methods to create similar spells for ourselves. To that end, let me introduce you to the wonderful world of confidence glamours.
Confidence glamours can be attached to just about anything you wear, carry, or apply to your person, and their effects can be tailored to whatever you most need. The usual idea is to allow or encourage others to perceive you in the way you wish to be perceived, but they can just as easily be used to reassure or bolster yourself.
This can be done by creating a simple affirmation and attaching it to a piece of jewelry or clothing that reinforces the feeling you wish to manifest, or by attaching the spell to makeup or toiletries or a personal talisman.
For example, you might create an affirmation charm that carries the message, "My Confidence Carries Me Through The Day" and attach that to your favorite pair of shoes. Whenever you wear the shoes, the spell will give you just a little boost of confidence to carry you through situations that might otherwise derail your momentum or cause you to get stuck in an anxiety spiral.
You might attach an affirmation of, "I Am Unflappable" to your favorite moisturizer or cosmetic and apply the spell when you perform morning ablutions or put on makeup or moisturizer. Or you could select a favorite pocket talisman, like a keychain or a stone with a pleasing color and texture, and attach an affirmation of, "I Trust In Myself" that you can carry around in your pocket and squeeze or look at whenever you need that reassurance.
Speaking as someone who struggles with anxiety, especially in fast-paced social situations, I keep a few charmed items on hand for just about this exact purpose. It's not easy for an easily-overwhelmed gremlin who would much prefer to be a professional ornamental hermit to go out and perform six straight hours of direct marketing once a month in order to keep that side hustle money coming in, but I have to do it. So I have a hat. It is a lovely fancy hat decked out with fairy lights and I wear it to all my public events. Attaching the spell can be as simple as holding the item in your hand and speaking the affirmation while visualizing the spell winding around and into the object. You can also attach the spell by drawing or tracing a sigil with the affirmative meaning onto the object, though this can be a bit difficult if your chosen object is small.

i use these keywords to guide how i add layers/complexity to my workings! they may influence my sigils, the time when i do the working, the colors/herbs/crystals i use, etc! keep in mind that words may have diff meanings to diff people, so feel free to use this as inspiration for other words you prefer (or maybe even words in your native language)
for prosperity/money drawing workings
sustainable (as in sustainable source of income), stable (similar to prev.), desired (also similar to prev.), efficient/easy/quick, unexpected
for success/school/job workings
balance (as in work-life balance), consistent (as in consistent efforts/energy/opportunities), long-term (as in long-term success), wanted/desired (as in wanted/desired opportunities/means to succeed)
for protection workings
un/wanted (as in protection from unwanted things/passage for wanted things; like a conditional protection), harm/harmful (as in protection from harmful things, bc i personally don’t see all bad/negative things as harmful; ie sadness can be seen as negative but not always harmful depending on the situation!)
for cleansing workings
un/wanted (similar to above; cleanse unwanted things, leave those that are wanted), renew/refresh/rejuvenate, space (as in cleansing to make space for what you want to be surrounded by), clarity/understanding (cleansing so that you may ‘see better’; ie seeing your own strengths/weaknesses, seeing what helps and harms you, etc.)
glamour workings
natural (as in natural beauty), inner/outer (as in inner/outer beauty, a balance of both), effortless, glowing/shine, invisibility/camouflage/chameleon (for when you want to use glamour to lay low)
decided to focus on the workings i tend to do the most, so feel free to add more keywords or even categories/types of workings!
First, I make a satchel of the right colour where the lipsticks can fit.
Then, prepare the space and ingredients: herbs and/or oils, ribbons, gemstones and a sigil.
Drawing energy from the elements, I use one of my wands to channel it into the satchel (didn't write down which one, unfortunately). Then, a night in the moonlight or a day in the sun/on my Sun altar depending on what energy I think I need.
If you feel like they need to be there longer, better listen to your intuition (or use a pendulum) and leave them for longer.
Then, undo the satchel, bury or burn the herbs and ribbons and the sigil and cleanse the gemstones with incense or running water.
I have a black protection lipstick, blue clarity of the mind lipstick, energy lip oil and pink charisma boost lipstick. The clarity of the mind one literally saved me on the programming exam. I have never felt more focused and quick to understand the task. So, a recipe for it:
Lapis lazuli and/or clear quartz
Wisdom sigil
Blue ribbons and/or buttons
Lipstick or literally anything. Probably even works on jewellery. Preferably blue, but that's not necessary
Vanilla/vanilla oil
Sun water since things are better seen in the sunlight. Can be replaced with a Sun-charged rock or piece of wood or whatever
You can keep the enchanted product on the altar. Use it when you feel like you need a better working brain. Don't use it too often though, you may get very tired since brain uses tons of energy while thinking.
It will need recharging in some time. You will probably feel it yourself, but if you are not very sensitive to that, probably cleanse and re-charge every month.

♡Charge your perfume under the full moon. You can also charge any other cosmetic items such as lip glosses, creams, face masks, etc. Use the power of the full moon to your advantage!
♡Add your moon water to your bath and stir clock wise voicing your desires, affirmations, and intentions, etc.
♡Drink red rose teas
♡wear colors associated with beauty such as reds, pinks. Or if your looking for something a little more powerful and divine, wear black.
♡Stand outside in the rain! Rain has fantastic healing properties and just letting your face get soaked in rain water is fantastic for glamour.
♡Invest in a rose quartz face roller. Not only are face rollers just great for your skin in general, rose quartz has incredible healing properties and can help increase and restore beauty.
♡ Draw sigils and runes on your face with your moisturizer or primer. For runes I highly suggest using Berkana, Wunjo, and Soulo. I might make a post later about the sigils I’ve created for glamour magic.
♡ Store sea shells on your vanity and or in your bathroom. You can also add seashells in your bath, just be careful not to crush them. Sea shells are what is considered mathematical perfection and has had a long association with beauty, fertility, and love. Sea shells are especially useful if you are a devotee of Aphrodite.
♡Take a weekly oat bath. Not only are oats fantastic for your skin as a cosmetic, but it is believed to help restore emotional balance and have meditative like qualities.
♡Dedicate your Sundays as much as possible to self care! Sundays themselves are a good day to focus on as they are associated with healing and beauty in a lot of religions. I find taking this day just to focus on yourself a little more goes a long way and can help you get motivated to before the school/work week starts.

This is a glamour charm bag for masculine-aligned trans/nb people! It can be for giving off a masculine vibe, or being misgendered less. This is my first original spell/magickal work, and I wanted to share in hopes that others will find it useful!
Basil (masculine herb, steadies the mind & brings happiness)
Fun fact: Basil is derived from the Greek word basileus, which is commonly understood in the English-speaking world to mean “king”!
Stinging Nettle (masculine herb, protection)
Warning: stinging nettle can cause an itchy rash on some people when it comes into contact w/ bare skin – handle with care!
Glitter in a color you associate with masculinity (common colors I’ve seen are blue, gold, and red!)
A piece of paper with your intent written on it (to appear more masculine, for others to stop misgendering you, to be safe from transphobia, etc)
This will be burned, please do so safely and read the notes at the end if you will be unable to burn something!
A small bag to put the items in, and a way to seal the bag

Instructions:
Before you start, charge all the items you are going to use by putting them in your windowsill in the morning and removing them by sunset – the sun provides masculine energy
Do whatever you need to ready your space for magickal working
Cast a circle, clean, open all your windows, light candles, whatever you personally do!
Gather the items together
Burn the paper with your intent on it
Make sure to do this safely, we don’t want any burnt fingers or surfaces!
Mix the ashes of the paper with the glitter you chose while communicating your intent into it the way you choose to, and stirring clockwise
Add the basil and stinging nettle to the glitter-ash mix, stirring clockwise, all while communicating your intent the way you choose too
Visualize the intent, think it, whisper it, shout it, sing it, sign it—it’s up to how you feel comfortable putting your energy into this!
Put the mixture in the bag and put the pyrite in as well
Seal the bag however you feel is necessary
Carry it with you in your pocket, in your backpack, tucked into your boot, etc
Recharge by letting the bag sit in the sun for a day
Notes:
Remember that you can substitute things you need to – magick is fluid and understand that people have allergies or communicate intentions and energies in different ways. You could charge the items differently, write your intention as a sigil instead of a phrase, or even make this a spell jar instead of a charm bag!
Masculinity and femininity is a social construct. I used commonly masculine-aligned things for this, but you can truly charge things in whatever way you feel provides masculine energy
If you are unable to burn the paper:
At the burning step, tear the intent paper into small pieces instead of burning it, then continue following the directions
Sealing the bag:
Many bags simply have a drawstring you can use to seal them!
Tie the bag closed using a ribbon that matches the glitter color, or another color to help strengthen masculine energy, add protection, etc
Sew it closed using thread (same color suggestion as the ribbon idea above)
Braid colored yarn together with your intention in mind, then tie the bag closed with the braided yarn

i think there will be an upsurge soon of unscrupulous and/or malicious actors preying on desperate pregnant people; do not help them kill people. don't spread recipes for herbal medicines or ingestible essential oil mixtures that purport to cause a pregnancy termination.
And then when they realize they too are dying and it wasn't just a "side effect" of a home abortion, they won't be able to get help because that would mean hospitals and tests and then everyone would know and they will go to jail.
Stack up on plan b and birth control while you can.
Plan b has a shelf life of four years. If every woman that felt at risk of unwanted pregnancy had eight plan Bs at home before the presidency is handed over then every woman would most likely have more than enough for themself and would be able to share with a family member or friend in the event of unwanted pregnancy.
Wear this glamour when you need to have an important conversation, or you're heading into a situation where you expect to be misunderstood or misinterpreted.
Prepare the following mixture in a small dish
A Spoonful of Honey
A Sprinkle of Dried Basil
A Few Drops of Lemon Juice
The honey for teamwork, the basil for communication and harmony, and the lemon for purification and inspiration
Place a small amount of this mixture on the tongue, visualizing the words coming out of your mouth silky smooth, sweet, and easy to digest. Wherever your words are heard, a sense of collaboration follows.
Place a fingertip's worth behind each ear, visualizing the words of others sounding silky smooth, sweet, and easy to digest. Whatever words you hear you will thoroughly understand.
I’m surprised I haven’t made this sooner. there’s isn’t really a reason why just didn’t. But here’s the attraction oil I made a few days ago. I personally think she’s the prettiest oil i’ve made.
