Yo. I’m Hirano Asaka. I make up recipes and stuff and get paid. I’m practically a freeloader here so don’t ask me anything since I probably dunno. Just ask the foreigner who’s always on shift with me for some reason.

Hachiya Byakuya 八矢 白夜
Nicknames: Hachi (-san or -chan; preferred over full name), Byakko (used primary by Yukiko)
Role: owner. Sometimes helps with cooking and cleaning but mostly does manager work.
Detective-wise she majored in psychology and has the money and connections to call in favors. She usually handles the customer meetings.
Personality: appears professional and extroverted but shes actually an introverted mess who can act (mostly). Likes teasing people close to her and can be clingy and stubborn. Very indecisive but keeps a cool head in emergencies.
Appearance: dark blue-purple chin length hair (half up half down), light gray eyes, mole under right eye. Likes wearing turtlenecks. 177cm. 20 years old.
Chihari Yukiko 千針 雪虎
Nicknames: Yuki (-san or -chan), Chihari-sama (jokingly, by Hachiya)
Role: co-owner but also a barista. She also manages the finances.
Detective-wise she dual-majored in accounting and law (very impressive) so does behind the scenes work
Personality: kind and extroverted. She loves surprising people with things and doesn’t mind a prank or two. Pretty popular but she underplays it. Chronic overthinker and subject to people pleasing.
Appearance: long, magenta-red hair. Reddish-brown eyes. Braids hair for work but prefers to wear it down. Likes scarves and long earrings. 156 cm. 21 years old.
Hirano Asaka 平能 朝佳
Nicknames: she doesn’t like nicknames
Role: barista, cook and recipe maker. Unwillingly works with Byakuya and Carlotta a lot.
Detective wise she’s a criminology student (along with Mizuki), enjoys biology and she’s very good at information gathering due to her good hearing, tendency to eavesdrop and the fact that nobody notices her presence unless she talks first.
Personality: Nonchalant and bored. Tired of existing and smug about her recipe inventing genius. She hates that she’s given up on people but thinks that not caring about what they think is better in the long run. Wishes she could cry and laugh but she’s grown very apathetic.
Appearance: long, white hair tied back in low pigtails and flat fringe. Pink-red eyes. Likes oversized clothing. 148 cm (short queen). 18 years old.
Nobutomo Mahiro 信朝 万優
Nicknames: Tomo (wordplay on her last name and the japanese word for friend)
Role: food prep and front of house, part time.
Detective-wise she isn’t as involved but she helps organise and compile files and information. She’s quite intelligent but had to quit Uni to support her family financially.
Personality: grounded and focused, but a genuinely caring person. She’s very work focused and worries about money. Often overworks herself for her family. Can be overly serious at times but mostly just gives big sister energy.
Appearance: shoulder-length brown hair that’s tied back for work. Yellowish-brown eyes. Dresses very neatly and modestly. 168 cm. 21 years old.
Carlotta Klein
Nicknames: Kurane Karota (romanji version of her name; also means warehouse and a type of playing cards but whatevers)
Role: server/front of house and social media/promotions manager
Detective-wise she’s actually very talented with technology and occasionally hacks stuff. Also good with global issues and stuff. Her major is geography.
Personality: very bubbly and excited. Loves talking about travel, fashion and geography. She worries that her personality is too extreme for people so tries to reign it in a bit. Also prone to completing stupid dares and challenges. Wants to prove that she can fit into Japan without changing her sense of self.
Appearance: chest-length hair she ties up in a high ponytail (usually accidentally slightly lopsided). Bright green eyes. Loves brightly-coloured dresses. 158 cm. 19 years old.
Fujiwara Mizuki 藤原 美月
Nicknames: she just goes by mizuki
Role: basically cleanup crew. She just wipes down tables and collects the plates and stuff.
Detective-wise she’s a criminology student double majoring anthropology, so she mostly does behind-the-scenes work.
Personality: shy and not great at talking to people. Worries that people only pity her and that’s why anybody is nice to her. Actually enjoys chatting about her interest in history and anime, but fears that people would find it cringey or annoying.
Appearance: mid-length lavender hair tied up in a low bun. Dark navy eyes. Likes long skirts. 163 cm. 18 years old.

Hirane/Asakaro - rivals to lovers ahh. Theyll bicker like an old married couple

Asakarofuji/science trio - why argue over the above ships when all of them can be together? Science club because Asaka likes bio, Carlotta studies geo and mizuki does anthropology
