breakfastless behavior
love it when my kitchen is clean, life is so much easier... i'm sorry countertops i will never let you get this nasty ever again (/fully lying)
Swedish media are now whining (as if winning wasn’t enough, seriously?) and calling Finland “the former eastern part of the kingdom” which is absolutely tone deaf and disgusting, especially in a climate like this when another neighboring country of ours is using the same rhetoric about Ukraine
Swedes pulling out their colonialist card and with such pride out of spite is the last thing I was expecting in my 2023 bingo card
day 3 of käärijä lockdown
GUYS!! You can watch Käärijä's next live show from anywhere in the world!!
Käärijä is performing in Helsinki this Saturday, May 20th and you can watch it live online, no matter where in the world you are!
Since it's going to be streamed on the Finnish public radio's (YLE) site, I'm assuming it's free to watch.
Show starts at 8 pm Finnish time at yle.fi/euroviisut
UMK on ig
Swedish people watching the rest of the world
watching that video of käärijä being sad because he wasn't the best and bojan was trying to cheer him up by wearing his outfit and he managed to make him laugh and then the rest of the guys called him their winner
Finland literally got 87% of all available public votes (376/432) AND YET even if they got 100% of the possible public points (150+432 = 582) they still wouldn't have overtaken Sweden (583), and that's the heart of the problem. If every single country agrees on the best song, it should absolutely win. This is why everyone is SO mad at the juries this year, even though Loreen came second in the televote. It's why people are (jokingly) asking for negative voting, because the juries made it literally impossible for the overwhelming favourite to win
Hang it in the Louvre.
Jere welcomed back by Finnish supporters 💚
Käärijä being welcomed home to Finland today like the people’s winner he is 💚
Käärija leaving for Eurovision vs. Käärijä returning home from Eurovision
“5 minutes before the performance I was still sure of victory. I didn’t win. Thank you and I’m sorry ❤️” @paidatonriehuja (Käärijä) on Instagram
this was a shadow win at best:
- the fact that it was a jury win and the public didn’t want this
- they kept mentioning abba’s 50th anniversary, which lowkey made this seem planned
- this was the second highest number of televotes ever received and still the jury votes solved this
- the points were nowhere near Loreen’s score with ”euphoria” …THIS WAS ABOUT LESS THAN 60 POINTS
- you could literally hear the audience chanting for ”cha cha cha” and käärijä
- in conclusion: i’m a pissed off fin and i thought käärijä deserved to win
*sadly cha cha chas to bed*
You deserved better!!
