Yes, looking at all the hope we had post volume one is sad, but looking at all the dope ass theories we had post season 4 brings the buzz right back. I feel like I just discovered Byler for the first time again

would i get attacked by the masses (twt) if i said that the post-canon trending fics shouldn't all be smut and we should at least have some introspective works and definitely some rewrites?

i'm not hating on the popular fics, i'm just stunned that all of the popular ones after the finale are just smut smut/with some plot

there's nothing wrong with liking the fics that are popular right now, they're fun, but i just thought more of them would be based more on rewriting the show/adding new things rather than just smut

(again, nothing wrong with smut, i just think we should popularize fics that are character-driven along with the other ones we're reading now. just a thought)

Hey! Can you tell I've never made an edit in my life? I don't even know if this counts as an edit since all I did was just put a bunch of clips together. Anyway, I thought this song was very Byler coded and this is what I think of every time I listen to it so I thought I would try bringing it to life!

at the end of the day, no, i won’t claim i’m not upset and heartbroken because byler didn’t go canon. i won’t pretend that stranger things season five didn’t ruin byler for me, because no matter how much shit i preach about variants and fix it fics i DO want the real thing. i love this fandom more than anything, but nothing we can come up with is quite good enough to replace it for me.
