M3XM3N
(ESP)
(ENG)
M3XM3N is a photographic project that documents the manliness and beauty of the ordinary mexican men located in the streets from towns and cities of a contemporary Mexico: generally brown-skinned and “mestizo” men (resulting from the mix of European and indigenous races), that are not represented in a dignified manner by the mass media and advertising.
M3XM3N is a spontaneous photographic experience between strangers; it is an act of trust between two men: the subject and the photographer. It’s an alternative perspective, that lets one man appreciate the masculinty and beauty of another, without fear or guilt.
