Also i don't know if this is too personal or not, if it is feel free to not answer it!! Do you often get into arguments or fights? If yes what does long distance relationships fight about? How do you get through it? I'm sorry for asking so many questions lol, it's just hard finding fellow sapphics that are also in a long distance relationship accros the world

Not at all, I won’t go into the details since that is a bit too personal but my girlfriend and I do have hiccups and often is because of miscommunication or we haven’t been able to call for a few days and it’s taking a toll on the both of us. When getting through it, just talking and trying to fine the other person’s point of view and how they are feeling. But also just being aware of your partner’s feelings because being in an LDR with a time difference of 6 to 7 hours isn’t that easy.

That’s fine hahaha not many people do choose LDR but I have no regrets and I am so grateful that she is in my life, even if I’m a touch starved sapphic who’s love language is physical touch 😅

Hi i saw that you're in a distance relationship!! I just got into one to, i met them in tumblr and i really love them, do you have tips for us on how to make the relationship keep on getting stronger even though we're soooo far away from eachother!! (◕ᴗ◕✿)

Hey!! Aww I’m so happy for you! I’m pretty grateful to having my girlfriend in my life even though she lives at the other end of the word. I’m not sure with tips but I can tell you what has been working well in terms of getting stronger with distance :

Communication : it is very important especially since it’s a long distance relationship. Do make sure that there is open communication and the both of you know that you can approach the other person

So something my girlfriend and I do is that we do have ‘reviews’ to make sure that we are on the same page (very important when you have busy schedules etc)

Having something to look forward for : for us it’s breaking the distance. It is hard during the time of Covid

Do things together - this can be playing scribble.lo or Covidopoly, watching a movie together, sleeping together on call (my ultimate favorite- it makes me feel safe and let’s me know that she is there)

Send gifts for each other - this can help you send things to your partner. You can send letters, packages, postcards. If you are in the same situation as me (where I am not out - I initially had my girlfriend send the letters and packages to my friend’s house and I pick it up)

Open up to each other - I know it’s hard but they don’t know what you are thinking. This relates to communication

Call them : it can be a quick 10 minute phone call if you have a busy schedule. It feels good to hear your partner’s voice or to see them. It gives the reassurance that the relationship is real

I mean these are a few things that I can think of at the top of my head but if you want more - just let me know :)

We have an ‘Ally Alleyway’ in our high school building to advocate anti-racism and LGBTQ+ rights. The other day, we found a bat just hanging out near the rainbow section 😂 either the bat is an ally or is a ‘fruity’ bat (like fruit bat)…get it? :P
