My thoughts on the Emeloura interview, as a Christian.
Emeloura and her actions have been made an example for other people and what not to do. I do think the interview could maybe help other mentally ill people if they ever do appear again in the community. As for the interview and space itself, i had alot of moments where i thought it sucked and the content was not that great because there werent alot of good questions and followup questions. (yeah ik it wasn’t all that serious it was just a stupid twitter space lol)
Anyways, Emeloura.
She said in the X space that she and her fiance, Cameron, are both monogamous. She seemed to not realize that just because he was allegedly “fine” with her “crush” on Nick at first, it doesn’t make it okay. If you develop feelings for another person while in a relationship, you shut it down. If you go after another man whilst having one, you’re just on the path to destroying your own life. And now what’s happened, is you, Emeloura, have been made a public disgrace. It was utterly disrespectful towards Cameron to sit in front of him and openly lust after another man.
And not just that, but do anything in your power to talk to Nick.
She on top of her several social media posts talking about her “obsession” with nick and disturbing sexual fantasies, wrote a letter along with a polaroid picture of herself and sent it to him. Even though she said she and her fiance were “made for each other” and that she is monogamous with him and wouldn’t participate in a polyamorous (adulterous) relationship. Doing something like this is not a game, You are an adult about to be married to the man who is dedicating himself to take care of you for the rest of your life and you are going to bear his kids.
Like why would you send such a thing if you aren’t hoping to achieve a relationship with Nick?
Out of her attraction to Nick (which only began because Cameron was talking about him and then that led her to looking into him and then pretty much instantly getting attracted to him) she wanted to make him like her back. She wanted nick to somehow fall in love with her. She then decided to cast a love spell towards Nick in order to achieve this, which of course didn’t work. She also wanted to destroy anyone else who was a threat to her “advances towards nick” so she made a curse spell and casted it towards Faith Merrill. Why faith? Because she was “really jealous”
Something that she kept saying in the interview, was that she wants to be “nice” to everyone, but it isn’t “nice” to put a spell on nick and try to force him against his will to fall in love with you when you are going to get married to another man. It also isn't “nice” to put a spell on faith just because you are “jealous”. That woman is in the same position as you are- not with Nick.
And like, you don’t actually “love” nick. You just want to use his body as a masturbation machine, as a sex object for your sick fetishes. Because if you loved him you wouldn’t try to use Satan to bind him to you.
Being a nice person involves not sinning against them, not just having a tone that conveys a “woe is me teehee, im just a quirky girl” attitude.
She said that she feels she is uncontrollably attracted to nick and can’t stop thinking about him, stuck in limerence.
She said that she wishes she could focus on something else, like going back to school to get an engineering degree, or even focus on fictional characters to place herself in imaginary p*rn to get off with, or romance with. but she finds herself constantly thinking about this stuff. Thinking about the online drama surrounding her, thinking about Nick. The truth is there is nothing actually preventing her from just changing what she focuses on. There is nothing truly forcing her. She isn’t forced to think about Nick and all her sexual attractions. Somehow, all it took for her to get like this is just seeing a picture of Nick and then just get sucked into him. I think that you’re not “stuck” you just hate your life and your mind wants to wander to illusions of what you think is a better life. But the truth is, it would never be a better life. You are certainly not living a better life by fantasizing all day. All of that is just vanity.
Getting high on drugs with your fiance and coming up with a “Freudian analysis” as to why you’re so attracted to nick isn’t going to get you anywhere, you’re only obsessed with Nick because you think he is more attractive than your own fiance. But psychoanalysis could only tell you why the things throughout your life led you to developing mental illnesses, that is if you do it properly without all the witchcraft involved.
Towards the end, She talked about how she wants to now move on from it all and prioritize her fiance, and her own wellbeing, and to leave the community.
She kept saying “oh i wrote all that when i was manic haha” a manic episode is not excusable for immoral behavior. It’s a good thing she wants to move on and change, but just because you do decide to stop, it doesn't make what you did do, just…nothing.
You will be held accountable by God.
As for her interactions in the community, she put the blame on other people for her continuance in obsessing over nick. For starters she said that her fiance at the beginning “egged her on”. She also said that her friends on Tumblr (nickstorians) and on Discord watched the reactions nick had to her superchats and they would laugh and think Nick is in love with her back because he “smirked”. IDK if this actually happened, but if it did i can only assume it happened because they were JOKING and not SERIOUSLY saying Nick is in love with her…
She was a member of groypette groupchats and a member of the $100 month club groupchat with other groypers, and there she was heavily criticized. Which is what’s also motivating her to leave.
People that do not obey God and know God do not have a full understanding of morality, and this is why they do a bunch of evil crap and then sit and wonder why their life sucks. The psalms and proverbs are all about this.
This world is too full of sexual deviancy and it seems like nobody cares. You people are going to hell if you do this stuff. Witchcraft is not the tool to give you what you want in life. Doing good, and praying to God does.
