I took some notice that I haven't properly introduced myself.

I am Blueblobbing, you may call me blobbing or blue either one is fine.

I am Bisexual, she/her, adulting ✨️

I'm not in a whole lot of fandoms, only a main three currently, which are MLP, Undertale, DeltaRune, and The arcana. I'm starting to get into ObeyMe! However, I do enjoy discussing other fandoms. I find it fun to learn new things.

I enjoy writing and drawing, though due to my busy scheduling, I don't have much time for them.

I've made a few posts so far, and I am happy to see that they have gained some traction.

Don't feel afraid to reach out for requests, I don't charge only because I don't feel my art is worth it. Plus, I can't always get around to commissions, and it makes me feel horrible.

Before I deep dive into this how many of you guys on here would be interested in a story driven Mouthwashing RP? Im thinking of making a erver souly for the story aspect of rps. What im looking for in members is someone who's in it for the "long-haul". I wanna create it to be open to OCs but not be too bombarded that its hard to navigate. I have a question for the Hellenic community, recently a fly has been around my home, it follows me into every room, ive gotten extremely close to touching it once only for it to shift away, not fly like other flies would. It looks like its playing with my dog currently as it hovers over him and when he snaps it flies just enough out of his reach. It'll even hover around me or land on me. Maybe im thinking too much into it but it has been a week of this..

hi im new into Hellenic polytheism but I still struggle with some stuff maybe few of you can help me 🥹

English is not my first language so please forgive me if my grammar is not the best 🥹🥹

I already read books and saw documentation and even have a whole notebook about Hellenic polytheism but I still feel if I don’t know anything at all 🥹 so here are my questions:

1. do I need to know all myths ? Because there are lot and I don’t think I can know them all at once 🥹🥹

2. how I can know which deities I want to worship? I love all of them so much I can’t really decide

3. it’s it okay to eat meat because I read that a rules hurting animals is not allowed

4. what if I pronounce anything wrong because it’s not my first language?

5. the household oikos is only for families so when I get married I’m allowed to do oikos?

Hi! Im also new to this but I think i can help you out!

1. No you most certainly do not need to know all of the myths but it is highly encouraged to keep learning!

2. I would recommend that you start with the first 12 Olympians as you move along woth your rituals certain gods or goddesses may spaek your interest.

3. This is a grey area actually within hellenism, though we are not supposed to harm animals it isnt cited anywhere that eating meat is against hellenism. In fact one of the rituals with Artemis is to eat fresh local hunted meats to honor her. Now with this being said our jobs are to protect and maintain the balance within life and to help wildlife flourish (at least from my understanding) there are some who chose to avoid meat (this even goes back to ancient greek). Hellenism is a religion that works are you and what you feel is comfortable. So its best to follow what your gut says is right.

4. Pronouncing things wrong isnt something to shame. In fact after working with the Theoi some will give you new names to call them! So id say just do your best, thats all the gods require for us.

5. Not entirely sure on this one so bare with me just did a quick search, but from my understanding yes you would though I dont think its entirely demanded of us (correct me if im wrong). The Theoi that correspond with this particular are for the households protection and prosperity, it also carries your family's lineage allowing you to properly date and perhaps honor your ancestors properly. Though again im not sure about this one and personally.

Id recommend constantly researching and learning more. Maybe for that last question you could research into how Greeks lived their lives and see how they might have handled this, as how they lived directly reflects their religion which helps guide us along our paths.

Hi everyone! Im fairly new to this community. Recently ive felt a strong calling to the Greek gods and to learn more about them and their history. For over a year now ive felt a strong calling to specifically the god Poseidon. As I step along this new path in my life Id like some assistance, some tips or advice to help me along. I should mention I unfortunately lack the space to do formal alters but ive been told about closet alters! So if you have any information over that feel free to reach out to me! I made a similar post about this in a different tag but id like to still post it hear. A small thank you letter to Poseidon for coming forth and helping me to find this new path. Ill put it under the cut. (Slightly nervous)

Dear Earthshaker, I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for your guidance. As I've grown up I've experienced ragging emotions, constantly being told I'm "too emotional" but yet they flow from me like water. Yet when you entered my life you showed me how to regulate these emtions. To meditate, to slow down and take time for myself.

I feel safe within your presence and heard when I speak to you. When I see rainclouds on the way I smile and rejoice, rain has always been my favorite weather. When I go out on the water I can't help but be lulled to sleep by it's gentle waves. I often wonder if it's you letting me know you're there.

Thank you, for everything, for the peace and love I feel. For your guiding hand as I (joke much intended) dip my toes into the waters around me. I can only go forth and strive to be a better version of myself. To take what you've shown and taught me and put it into practice. That's exactly what I intend to do!
