✨Kirk and Bones at the Starfleet Academy. I honestly have no idea if TOS Kirk and Bones attended Starfleet together-together or how it would have worked, but let me have this. I based their dress uniforms on A) the regular cadet uniform, and B) the canon premise that all cadet uniforms at this time are exactly like commissioned officers, but silver and with ten-pointed stars instead of the Starfleet insignia. Also I gave them name tags because I feel like cadets need those.

Also, another thing.

When Spock’s still bantering with McCoy, he addresses him directly, “Oh, and Doctor McCoy. You would have not survived it.”

BUT

when things get serious, he can’t do that. When things get serious, he dissociates, “Tell Doctor McCoy he should have wished me luck.”

And it isn’t just one episode thing because he does that in Amok Time as well. He can’t admit to McCoy that he considers him one of his closest friends, so he’s just like “I also request McCoy accompany me.” (also note that he says “me”, not “us”) Although, when he speaks to others, like T’Pau or later to Lal and Thann in the Empath, he has no trouble being like “my friends, our friend”

While I agree in essence, I know in my heart of hearts that Bones may complain but he loves it as much as they do.

the enterprise d kids go trick or treating. what do the senior officers hand out?

Riker hands out the full size candy bars because he’s a kid at heart and he knows there’s nothing “fun” about smaller candy.

Troi hands out chocolate everything (mostly so she can eat the leftovers).

Beverly hands out sugar free goodies because she knows the kids are going to get enough sugar from everywhere else, but she buys the quality sugar free candy so no one hates her for it. (She makes Wesley go trick or treating even though he’s quote “too old for that baby stuff”.)

Worf gives out apples. He’s not popular.

Data does research beforehand to learn every child’s favorite type of candy, and the parents too. He’s everyone’s favorite stop. He and Geordi coordinate costumes and give out candy together.

Picard hides in his cabin and doesn’t answer the door all night. Children scare him.
