Threaten the mun and the muse will respond.
Send my muse cheesy pick-up lines for their reaction

Observation [Quinn & Riven]
bluefeatherhunter:
Valor made a few squaking noises, stealing Quinn’s attention for a moment. Once she realized what he was saying, she tapped him on the beak.
"Scouting, mostly," Quinn answered, turning back to Riven. "You see a lot more when you’ve got eyes on the ground and in the skies. Little escapes his gaze." Valor made a quick cry. "Like you."
Valor made a short noise in the back of his throat. One might have thought it to be a laugh. Quinn knew that’s exactly what it was, but managed to keep a smile off her face. Valor didn’t quite like Riven’s phrasing.
Rapidly, Riven found herself feeling almost… unwelcome in the subtlest of ways. She had underestimated the connection Quinn had with Valor before truly meeting them, thinking it akin to the bond a child would have with a dog. She had been mistaken, it would seem, and if nothing else she felt somewhat like a third wheel in a conversation she had no part of.
Still, her expression remained strictly controlled as she looked curiously at the bird. What urge she had had before to pet him was stifled with the thought he was more like a human companion than a bird, and thumbs instead tucked into her belt.
”Good thing I did not intend to sneak up on you, I suppose. It seems one would have a hard time doing such a thing.”
"Practically impossible," Quinn agreed. It wasn't completely impossible, there were always ways to sneak up on someone. She wasn't stupid, she knew, even as good as they were, it could happen. There was always someone better.
With the current subject seemingly run it's course however, Quinn now found it curious as to why the exile was out here. "So what brought you out this far from the League? Peace and quiet?" The complex was hardly ever a good place to sit in silence.
((...Oops, forgot about this for a bit there. *follows the OOC blogs* I might make one later XD I should see about RPs right now though...))
Same crap, a different day. Sona made her way out of the Institute, her eyes fixed on the path ahead of her; she had hoped to find something new, something exciting as she went on a walk through the large grounds surrounding the building. Her hands placed in front of her she clasped them together and bit her lower lip.
As she continued down the path, the Maven allowed her mind to wander. She thought about the last large concert that she had played at and let out a sigh, missing the spot light and the euphoria that filled the rooms that she performed in.
The woods either side of the path seemed to be littered with small bugs and insects, each of them playing their own melody between the leaves. Her lips curling up at the sides as she came to a stand still, her attention focused on the music that nature had been playing for her at that time. Though due to her immense focus, Sona was unable to hear the sound of the oncoming champion.
Today was nice. Clear skies, little wind, a perfect day for hunting. It was a shame they had a number of matches lined up soon. Quinn walked down the path, Valor swooping down to land on her gauntlet as they neared the complex. That was when Quinn spotted Sona, staring at... something. Following the mute's gaze, she saw the various insects and wildlife playing their song. That must've been what had drawn the Maven's attention, being quite melodic herself.
Quinn did not want to disturb the woman, and intended to walk right by. Valor, however, got a glint in his eye and just as they passed by, cried out loudly, giving even Quinn a slight jump.
"What was that for?" Quinn scolded the bird, who merely made a few short noises before flying off into the sky. "Hey!"
It took Quinn a moment to realize that Sona was still there. She turned to face her, and apologized. "Sorry, he's just excited to get going..." It was a lie, but she didn't want Valor - or herself - getting into undue trouble. Despite his best efforts.
Observation [Quinn & Riven]
bluefeatherhunter:
Quinn nodded as she watched the silhouette of her partner make lazy circles in the air. “He does, and I can understand him as well. It comes with working together for so long.”
As if hearing him being talked about, Valor made a loud cry and fluttered down to the pair. Quinn stuck her arm out and he landed on the gauntlet attached to her right arm. He was a very large bird, a beautiful blue Demacian eagle. He eyed Riven for a moment before squaking at her.
"He says ‘hello’," Quinn translated.
Riven tilted her head as she approached a little cautiously. More than once she’d been on the receiving end of Valor’s fury on the fields and she had no interest in riling the beast by stepping close to his master. Or… Friend, as they seemed to be.
”What does he do for you? Other than the things he does on the fields, of course.” The second half was muttered, amber gaze fixed curiously on the bird. “Does he scout for you? Send messages?”
Valor made a few squaking noises, stealing Quinn's attention for a moment. Once she realized what he was saying, she tapped him on the beak.
"Scouting, mostly," Quinn answered, turning back to Riven. "You see a lot more when you've got eyes on the ground and in the skies. Little escapes his gaze." Valor made a quick cry. "Like you."

Observation [Quinn & Riven]
bluefeatherhunter:
With a sigh, Quinn closed her notebook. She’d have to finish it later. Quinn dropped down from her perch, and despite the height, she landed fairly softly in a crouch before standing and walking closer to the exile.
"That’s me, and you’re Riven?" She waved her hand. "Don’t worry much, you likely wouldn’t have had Valor not given me away."
She glanced up to the sky where Valor continued circling, pointedly ignoring Quinn. “I may have to have a good talk with him later…”
The exile gave a short nod before her own gaze followed that of Quinn’s. A hand rose to shield her eyes from the suns rays as she squinted at the bird, trying and failing to get a better look at him. With the glare of the sun, he was nothing but a shadow.
”He understands you?” It was a curious question, unassuming though Riven spoke it with a slightly tensed jaw. She had little experience with animals aside from killing the wild ones that would make her a meal, and from what she had seen of Valor on the field, it was clear he was no mere animal.
Quinn nodded as she watched the silhouette of her partner make lazy circles in the air. "He does, and I can understand him as well. It comes with working together for so long."

Observation [Quinn & Riven]
Riven squinted into the distance as she got closer and heard that second call. The bird itself was easy to spot against the clear, cloudless sky but as it circled above, she found her gaze searching below it and spotted a figure. She recognised the woman almost instantly as she drew closer — Demacian colours, the eagle… It had to be Quinn. But she knew little more than a name, and that she was a formidable foe on the battlefield.
It occurred to her then that she could well be interrupting, but despite her desire to find peace of her own she had a need beyond curiosity to vet the other Champions as best she could. As her strides took her up the small hill to where Quinn was perched, she halted a respectful distance away before speaking, loud enough to be heard.
”Quinn, right? Sorry to disturb.”
With a sigh, Quinn closed her notebook. She'd have to finish it later. Quinn dropped down from her perch, and despite the height, she landed fairly softly in a crouch before standing and walking closer to the exile.

Observation [Quinn & Riven]
bluefeatherhunter:
Quinn sat in a perch overlooking the Institute of War, her notebook open on her lap and her pen moving across the paper in between glances at the view in front of her. On the page was a half-completed sketch of the building that housed the League of Legends. It wasn’t exactly her best work, but it wasn’t meant to be. Today was for relaxing, and she was enjoying merely the act of drawing.
At least until the cry of an eagle rang out from overhead. It would be mere background noise to anyone else, but to Quinn, it was a call, an alert that someone was approaching. A quick glance up confirmed Valor circling about, high overhead. An equally quick glance down confirmed his call. There was someone down there. She wasn’t exactly hiding, but she wondered if they had spotted her, or were merely passing by…
Riven was growing tired of the Institute already. It was noisy, bustling always with summoners and Champions, all fluttering about their separate pursuits, some grouping up and becoming more of an obstacle. The only place she could truly have peace was her room, but the mid year months and the lack of a cool breeze made that room stiflingly hot, so much so she would struggle to breathe. She hated the heat, hated the bustle, and just needed a moment to get away.
It was coincidental that she saw something glisten in the sunlight up ahead as she made her way to the treeline surrounding the institute. She sought shade, perhaps even a pool of water deep within the trees in which to cool off. Curiosity had her approach however the call of that eagle had her jump, and her pace slowed as her curiosity soared, but her wariness also flared.
As the figure approached, Quinn recognized it as Riven. Former Noxian military, from what she'd read, though there was little else as far as details went. What she had picked up was that Riven was a bit of a loner, much as Quinn herself was. She looked back down at her sketch. Even if it didn't have much effort put into it, she didn't exactly want to just leave it half finished. Riven hadn't spotted her yet though, so maybe she could just keep drawing without interruption...
Which was her plan until Valor flew down and perched just above Quinn's head, calling out again. "Valor!" Quinn hissed with a scowl.
If Riven hadn't seen her yet, she definitely would now. Valor just gave his partner a look that deepened Quinn's scowl and then flew off again. He was doing this on purpose!

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
"Hmm, a good question..." Quinn tapped her bottom lip as she thought for a moment. "The first that comes to mind is a drawing I did as a child, with me and my brother as knights." The scout smiled softly at the memory.
[Hey, wanted to say welcome to this here group and stuff. Also wanted to say that I really like the description you've got going on for Quinn. I look forward to when we run into each other]
