Title: A Cleansing Sage
The Image above is an assortment of gemstones surrounding a sage bundle used to smudge a room or cleanse other stones. The sage bundle is in a ceramic dish with a large raw amethyst chunk along with some tumbled amethyst stones. The gems surrounding the sage starting from the top left are Onyx, Labradorite with firing, Opalite wand, Labradorite heart without firing, & Red Tigers Eye. [plus a lighter]
Title: The Whole Collection These are all the gemstones I have collected over time. I arranged them neatly on a plate I had hand made, and angled them so I could capture most of the unique characteristics of each gemstone while using a crystal cup to achieve the rainbow cast on the gems. Gems shown: Labrodrite, Smokey Quartz, Lapiz Lazuli, Amethyst, Opalite, Hematite, Onyx, Angel Quartz, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Tigers Eyes, & Bolderite.
Title: A Bag Of Wonders This is the bag where I hold all my current gems so they don't get lost while moving them around. In this image, I was able to position the Opalite in front of the bag and capture the colors the wand projects. Gem: Opalite
Title: It Grows There Is a little shop downtown where I acquire most of my gems. When Taking the picture I was able to get a glare shot through my car window, which added a nice touch to the overall image. Gems: Jade, Roze Quartz,& Amethyst.
Title: The Ritual In this Image, I placed out my gemstones into a cleansing circle and got an overhead shot to capture the sequence the gems are placed in. Gems shown: Labrodrite, Smokey Quartz, Amethyst, Opalite, Hematite, Onyx, Angel Quartz, Tigers Eyes, & Bolderite.
Title: A Watcher
While Taking Some Photographs my pug Lilly watched me the whole time. I was able to capture this image of her quickly before she decided to roll over for pets and belly rubs. This Image was also what gave me the Idea to use the Crystal Prism In my living too to achieve the rainbow glare.
Title: A Sunny Warmth
On a ledge of my window is where I keep my stones. The sun reflects off of the gem’s glossy surface and reveals much of the characteristics each stone has.Gems starting from the top: Jade, Rose Quartz, & Amethyst.
Title: Silloetted By the Rain It was Raining when I took this shot. The bright light shining through the front window in our living room made perfect conditions to shoot a silhouette shot of my salt lamp and an assortment of gems. I used photoshop to help blur out the background so the focus draws you into the highlight above the salt.

These are all the tools I use to cleanse. In this photo, I used a filter to help bring out more of the details and textures in the old table I used as my background. The table used to belong to my grandmother, and it’s become my favorite surface to take overhead shots on.Gems: Amethyst
