Zutara Month Day 1: Reluctant Allies (but make it Tangled AU)

The au isn’t fully fleshed out, I just thought the characters dynamic in the film were reminiscent of zutara. However, people on twitter helped me come up with the idea that Zuko is a banished fire nation prince that ended up being a vigilante thief “Blue Spirit” in the Earth Kingdom. When his identity as Lee the tea shop guy is revealed, he was on the run and ended up in a tower where he meets Katara, who was kidnapped by Hama as a baby.

When I say that my favourite atla ship is Zutara people assume that I dislike Aang. But that couldn't more further than truth. I love all the kids in team avatar.

I really like Aang, I just don't find his relationship with Katara romantically interesting and therefore I don't ship them.

So if you like both zutara and Aang please like or reblog this post. I want to see how many of us share this mentality.

This urge to draw her probally came from the new atla live action. Idk if it's going to be good becuse my expectations are lowering with every new information we get. And i hate the whole art direction of the series. And don't even get me started on the costumes.

But putting that aside, ever since i watched atla 2 years ago, i couldn't wait to draw all the characters in digital medium ( : And here I am, finnaly doing so.

The patterns, tattos and jewerly are inspired by inuit coulture ( i know its not really accurate).

Anyway, I hope you like this piece
