Long Time No See (2)
I've returned from the inactivity grave once again! Here's a few updates:
This blog will now feature videos from 2 channels, Triple Seven Studios and Triple Seven Media Co.
Triple Seven Studios is a channel where using game footage, I create video edits and AMVs. There are also videos documenting gaming challenges, achievements, and moments. However, the videos shared on this blog will be focused on the creative edits I've made.
Triple Seven Studios Media Co. is a channel where using NTSC-RS, I made my videos look like they came from VHS tapes. This channel primarily serves as an archive for my older videos. The videos that will be featured on the blog will be focused on in-game videography and gaming videos that I think look neat with the VHS filter.
I've been running these channels for 4+ years as a hobby and I am now sharing these videos here.
Why?
The kind of videos I make are pretty niche, niche in a way that makes it hard for them to be recommended on YouTube. Some videos have been decently successful in regards to reach but others not so much.
I specify reach and not views for a reason, whether a video gets 100 views or 2 views doesn't matter as long as the video is getting found by people who are genuinely interested in it!
Depending on YouTube's complex algorithm to achieve this has led to very mixed results. So, as someone who has been on Tumblr for ages and is very familiar and fond of its tagging system, I am going to share my videos here.
Like mentioned previously, it will not be all of the videos from both channels as this blog is for my creative works and not all of the videos from both channels fit that description.
As someone who's benefited from finding niche things online that fit my exact tastes, I like to think I'm repaying the favor through the posts already on this blog and the videos I've made over the years.
To summarize: I'm back and will be adding new stuff to this blog! (Not just videos either!)
