It’s called the crayola colorcycle program! As on its FAQ, they mention the following:

“Crayola ColorCycle will accept all brands of plastic markers, not just Crayola markers. That includes dry erase markers and highlighters! ColorCycle will eliminate placing hundreds of tons of markers into landfills.”

There do seem to be some limits, however, as far as I can tell, anyone can ship in a box of markers. “Any sturdy cardboard box with minimal outer markings will work. The more markers you ship, the more efficient this program will be. We suggest a minimum of 100 markers and a maximum of up to 40 pounds.”

Also, look for the Crayon Initiative. 

Their whole things work with used, donated crayons they melt and make new ones to donate to children’s hospitals.

The next time you’re watching this masterful scene I want you to remember that 3D objects in the computer have no physical properties and can clip through each other without care. Which means that every stretch of skin, every forceful kiss, every tender hand placement, every single physical touch and movement has to be meticulously crafted and executed flawlessly by the animators to ensure that it looks realistic. It boggles my mind at how much work was put into every single frame of this scene and I thank the animators for their service.

I'm going MCU on main again for a brief moment to get something off of my chest.

So, today, Bob Iger opened his mouth and said this:

First off, this is a rude thing to say! Like people worked hard on the movie and it is very weird for him to blame its flopping on a lack of supervision by execs - especially when the film's director, who has been treated really grossly by the media in general, literally broke the record for highest-grossing film by a black female director with this movie (and, yes, the fact that the lowest-grossing Feige-produced Marvel movie is also the highest-grossing film by a black female director is really depressing and says a lot about Hollywood's diversity problem).

It's especially weird for him to say this when plenty of other Disney movies starring/directed-by cishet white dudes have been flopping this year too. The vibes aren't great. I don't like it.

Second off... Well, um, if there weren't execs sticking their noses in everything, then this suddenly makes more sense to me in hindsight.

Since that story broke, I have been wondering how they got to the point that a gay scene with Carol Danvers was even filmed without Marvel execs stepping in and smacking everyone with the hetero-hammer... and I suppose "the execs weren't there" is as good of an explanation as any! While the final cut of the film falls short of explicit queer representation, I do have to hand it to DaCosta, the cast, and the crew for taking advantage of the opportunity and trying their darnedest...
