Over the last few weeks Olivia Fougerais and I made a new short film Santa’s Hat. It’s available on YouTube in English and French.
Back in 2017 I made a short animation called Five Penguins. This year Olivia Fougerais and I worked on translating that film into French. We just released it, and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/Obk8OXM71rU
Olivia not only translated my story, but also recorded a new narration for the film. It was a lot of work, but we made it finally. Merci Beacoup Olivia!
If you'd like to watch the original English version with my narration that is available too. Here: https://youtu.be/wZlCt13FOGI
Original story, English narration, and animation: James Gaunt Translation and French Narration: Olivia Fougerais Music and additional Sound: Laurens Dowling-Lane
How To Get Noticed At Your Next Interview, a new short animated film. The film is available to watch on YouTube and Vimeo.

I made this quick animation today. Everything was hand drawn and then put together in Premiere. It was 19 drawings.
The film is available to watch on YouTube and Vimeo.
I have been creating a series of test animations for a project I hope to complete this year. This week I focused on propellers. This animation uses three looped frames which were hand drawn on paper, scanned, and put together in Final Cut Pro X with each frame lasting .03 seconds.
A few weeks ago I published a book on UNKLE’s 1998 album Psyence Fiction. You can download a free PDF of the entire book here. Or you can also find it on Amazon, Book Depository, or check Booko for the cheapest prices.
The National Library of Australia website also has a backup of the PDF if the other link doesn’t work.
