🪞🌹📿 A woman has to recognize where she has been starving while pretending she was loved. Sometimes the wound is not that nobody wanted you.

Sometimes the wound is that being wanted became enough because your inner value had not been fully restored.

Beauty, Love, Sex, and Loyalty can be misused. Talent, gifts, femininity, devotion, patience, forgiveness, and spiritual depth can all be misused when a woman has not returned to the truth of her own worth.

Hunger makes crumbs look like provision.

Loneliness dresses attention up as intimacy.

Chemistry can convince the body to call danger devotion.

Survival trains a woman to negotiate herself down just to keep something standing.

Fantasy makes potential feel more sacred than the truth of how someone treats her.

Public approval keeps a woman performing value instead of living from it.

Your body is not a bargaining table.

Your love is not a rescue mission.

Your devotion is not a discount.

Your beauty is not an invitation to be consumed.

There comes a season when a woman must stop asking, “Do they want me?”

And start asking, “Do they have the capacity to honor what they are asking to touch?”

Worth stops being a question and becomes a standard.

In memory of comrade George Jackson - author, revolutionary, and founder of the Black Panther San Quentin Chapter - who on this day in 1971 was assassinated by San Quentin prison guards.

Brother Jackson was gunned down just days after completing his seminal work Blood In My Eye, a must-read political text. His activity behind bars as a political philosopher and revolutionary was so profound that his death became the driving force behind prisoners establishing Black August in the 70s.

We honor his legacy not just today, not just this month, but as a consistent part of our practice!
