Being provisionally diagnosed with severe and/or complex PTSD was not the best news a girl can get at 9am on a Wednesday morning, but somehow it actually feels... good? validating? to have some answers and a plan and, really, some concrete hope for the first time ever. Bonus awkwardness for realising at the end of the appointment that the doctor was the dad of a schoolfriend. (And thank goodness I've kept my Tumblr a secret from 99% of people I know for times like now when I'm wide awake at 3am wrapped up in my own thoughts).
