♕ FELIX WAS NOT surprised when Utsu-tsu tore her hands away from theirs–in fact, they had expected it. After all, they had seen what she had done to the cat, and had since assumed that the gachaman’s power funneled from her fingers.
Not much can hurt me, signed Felix. As a demon, I’m almost impenetrable.
IT HAD NOT occurred to Utsu-tsu, before, that Felix was a demon and, therefore, had no life force for her to steal. However, when they pointed it out, she realized. But she did not contemplate that; she felt some of the blue stuff from the crystals oozing down the back of her neck, and after she tensed up, that became all she could think about.
But then it began to absorb into her skin, before quickly disappearing entirely, and she relaxed. She brought her hand up in front of her face, and curled her fingers. It took no effort at all. All of her weakness was gone.
Utsu-tsu looked up at Felix. She signed, I feel much better. I have you to thank, right?
