Starlight was the first one I made, mostly for @lliuwrite’s Project Save Erid project and I really couldn’t resist the opportunity of making my little guy!! Or guys, I guess cuz lol I had the grand idea of giving Star a twin brother because I love the whole Coltland Twins AU thing where Colt essentially finds out in his horror and despair that he may have lost his other half forever.
I’ve submitted my design of Starlight since it got announced so I’m just making some lore and fun stuff as I go teehee
So that inspired the story for these two, as Star’s made to take on the role of one of the pilots. We all know what happens to the crew :’D
Gonna be adding tails for the sake of having a “fifth leg” in their human forms, but these two thrive in big clusters and pods (aka families) as they have always been that comforting older sibling duo that the pebbles find so nice to be with. They can be commonly found at the school and the lab (Dusty in that case as he’s part of the group that’s essentially like a NASA equivalent.)
With Star in the vast void of space on Blip-A, Dusty will forever be looking up to his brother in every single way. ;3
📝 BONUS BITS:
Don’t worry Dusty gets a newfound sibling aka Pool, my good bud’s OC!!! He very teeny tiny but filled with ADHD chaos as he did have heavy trauma from losing his whole pod, including clutch mates, from a predator attack. Very sassy yet self-destructive, so Dusty gets assigned to him to make sure that nothing breaks lol
Eventually the two develop very deep brotherly bond like no other, one that would rival the Coltland Twins if possible.
Dusty is about a few inches taller up to Grace’s hip, as it has been some time since the mission, so Rocky’s wayyy shorter, that and radiation effects perhaps. About 6’2” vs 5 foot for Pool in their human forms.

NOTE: Pool and Dusty get to interact the moment that Erid finds out that Rocky has returned with two aliens. Well, three, since the rp that I'm doing rn involves Colt being part of the crew. Till this happens, the two eridians haven't met each other at all, but has possibly took note of their presence, as Pool was labelled as [Unwanted Blue Gem] due to his chaotic "bad" behavior.
Dusty absolutely gets hired to be his babysitter since they don't know who handles chaotic pebbles like how he does with his mate lol so the two don't quite get along at first, till much MUCH later on. Their bond together is one for siblings. Newfound family.
I don't watch game streamers but your loving soft rendering of his face is the thing that has come closest to making me want to watch markiplier ever. It's uncanny

Honestly!!! Not much right now, as I am SUPER DUPER hyperfixated on Project Hail Mary--but!! There are a good couple prompts that I've seen so far within the fandom, including aot lol
That being the obvious Rocky/Grace/Big!Adrian thing going around (I love the idea of Grace being between two rocks lol), a good chunk of BloodyMary (aka Simon from Iron Lung paired with Grace), and probably a really good family AU where Grace is just living life, probably with his own version of a child or children?? that's mixed between Eridian and Human (idk its silly sure, but I love the concept of human hybrids, so thats eggs on both our faces)
Oh!! And ofc can't forget the Coltland Twins (+ Colt from Fall Guy), if not added with Court from The Gray Man as the eldest. I love me some good family AUs
