Garry had heard of the Chamomile District having a rather famous cafe somewhere -- it’s one of the few places he actually finds himself excited about visiting. It calms him to know that there’s an establishment in the city that’s relevant to his interests, and he especially hopes that they sell macarons. Seriously though, if he’s going to be living in this city for the time being, he’d better start getting comfortable, and this would only be the first step.

The problem is... he doesn’t really know where to find the cafe. Turning to a nearby teenager, he decides that it’s probably best to ask before he gets himself completely lost.

“Good evening. I don’t mean to bother, but do you know where I can find the Chamomile Cafe?” He chuckles a little sheepishly and wonders if he’s being too formal. “I’ve only just arrived today, so I’m not familiar with the area.”

A doll, a painting of a woman in red, and a blue rose... Is this supposed to be some kind of cruel joke? The fact that he was taken to a strange world doesn’t help this whole situation either, but on the bright side, this place seems nothing like Guertena’s gallery.

Still, he needs to test out if this city is anything like the place that now haunts his nightmares -- he can’t feel safe until he knows for sure. With a shaking hand, he tears off a small piece of the blue rose, preparing for pain to come. Nothing happens in response to this, so he slowly relaxes his muscles and allows a heavy sigh to escape his lips.

“Thank goodness...”

Now, what to do with these horrifying items, he wonders. Keeping them inside his apartment, whether they’re alive or not, seems like a bad idea for his heart. He’d rather not have any reminders of Guertena’s world, if he can help it.

After a bit of pondering, Garry decides to place the doll and painting outside as soon as possible so that passersby can take them if they so choose. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
