Color Differences Between the Manga and the Anime (With Pictures!)
Because I think these types of things are neat and kind of fun, okay?
In the manga Eren’s hair is black and his eyes are pale gray. In the anime his hair is brown and his eyes are green-blue.
In the manga, Mikasa’s scarf is black. In the anime it’s red.
In the manga, Jean’s hair i white. In the anime it’s a darker, brownish color.
In the manga Ymir’s hair is black, her eyes are gray, and her hair tie is white. In the anime her hair is brown, her eyes are yellow-brown, and her hair tie is red and yellow. Her skin is also darker in the anime.
In the manga Reiner’s eyes are lightly colored as well. It’s hard to tell, but I think blue. In the anime they’re yellow-brown. EDIT: Also in the manga Reiner does not have eyebrows. In the anime he has very thin eyebrows.
In the manga Bertholdt’s eyes are brown. In the anime they’re green. His skin is also a bit darker in the anime.
In the manga Levi’s eyes are a silvery gray, in the anime they are dark blue.
In the manga Dr. Grisha Jäger’s eyes are gray and his hair is black. In the anime both are brown.
In the manga Petra is blonde and Auruo’s hair is brown. In the anime Petra is a redhead and Auruo’s hair is the same color as Jean’s.
In the manga Rico Brzenska’s hair is dark blonde, and in the anime it’s a very pale blonde (more like “ash” or “platinum” blonde).
In the manga, both Eren’s and Annie’s Titan forms are very pale, and Annie’s Titan has no exposed muscle. In the anime both are darker (more “normal” like other Titans) and Annie’s Titan form is mostly exposed muscle with some bits of skin.
In the manga, the Armored Titan’s “armor” is white and its hair is blonde, while in the anime its armor is a tannish color and its hair is white. The armor’s design is also slightly different.
The Colossal Titan is mostly the same in both, but in the manga the design of it’s face and it’s eyes are slightly different.
In the manga the 3DM Gear’s harness, the skirt, controls, and their boots are all black. In the anime they’re all brown.
