   Maggie Glaise is a detective on the Steamworks isles. Her parents had long since passed, her mother from illness and her father found dead under mysterious circumstances years prior when Maggie was still a child.

Believing foul play in the death of her father, she refused to take up the family business and has since worked hard to find the truth. Following her father’s example she uses her skills to help those in her community.
