i emerge from a 10 year long coma to say I wish they would’ve made more “postal fraud” jokes with Murphy. like every once in a while he’ll remember that something like mail fraud is what got him in this entire mess and he’ll mutter something about it

while on a radio call with CZ Doc makes a reference to him volunteering for this and CZ’s like “no?? he was in jail?? for mail fraud??” and everyone’s just like

in the collector episode, the collector asks him some shit like “do you have any sage advice for any viewers” during the interview and Murphy just looks at the camera with the most dead-inside expression and says “don’t ever do mail fraud”

in season 3 one of the crew members (probably either doc or addy) mentions it to Hector and he’s like “wait I think I did that too” and everyone just combUSTS

just overall jokes about how of all the crimes they could’ve picked for murphy to be in the clink, they picked postal fraud
