18 Array Tutorials - Button array

I needed to code a mini-game for flash where; out of 8 places, you can only dig/search 5 places. Each time you successfully dig/find an item, you gain $10. So I updated the Found $ every time you successfully find it, and it gets pushed to your wallet immediately.

It took awhile to search for a way to make my buttons with the right way along with the arrays. But eventually after 2 days of testing, I finally got it to work. This flash was built up from my original random one.

15 Blog Review - Apple Sues Samsung

I was wondering how legit was Samsung's galaxy products were. Apparently if they're getting sues for copying apple, i guess they didnt check for patent infringements. I thought when something is copied, its good because it means its a great product to copy. But then again, they cost less, so they're "stealing" customers away by undercutting in price.

16 & 17 Tutorials - Flash Hourglass and flash embed

This was a quick tutorial I wanted to look into how arrays work. I have been trying to program a minigame with selecting 5 out of 8 boxes to see if "something" is in those boxes. Working with non arrays is tough. But I think this tutorial help me grasp arrays better.

16 Tutorial - CSS Reflection

I been working over the weekend on a random spawn generator mini-game for my Multi-screen project. It started with just a random number generator, then I worked it into an array of buttons and a for loop. Then I was able to control the visibility of each button according to the random number generated. The code is simple, but working from java and c++ knowledge made it tough.

14 Blog Review - Rocketeer? no way

This is just amazing. Although its rather bulky. But its good advancement in technology. Its been awhile since we've created something awesome. Hopefully we'll have some hoovering device in the next few years. At least before I'm too old to try it.

19 Inspiration - Patapon

This PSP rhythm game is not exactly popular. I stumbled upon this when I was looking for a rhythm game similar to Osu!, a PC rhythm/beat tapping game. You enter 4 beats to control the "army". From defending or attacking. The game's rhythm is repetitive, but the battles reproduce a more prehistoric way of fighting against monsters, and gods later on.

Its a great fun game to play through. Its cute watching them fight and especially when u reach a 4 combo and enter "Fever". The music changes and the army gets all hyped up.

17 Inspiration - Beautiful Architecture

This is a modern house, possibly even mansion, designed by a Japanese architect. It looks very simplistic, yet it looks amazing. Its very minimal, consisting of black, white and rest glass. It looks sleek, classy and rich. It makes me wonder that it applies to web design too. Minimal, sleek, consisting of : black white and transparency.

Time to hit the drawing board.

13 Blog Review - Portals In Real Life!

This is pretty awesome. Not to mention the colors look really nice. But I guess he didn't need to cut his wall open. I guess jumping into one is not the smartest thing to do. Its always nice to see people bringing aspects in games into reality. Its just nice to see it possible and made.

12 Blog Review - First Person Super Mario

Wow, this looks tough to play in first person. How accurate can you jump on the goompas? I would have some trouble at first. It may not be that fun that its just 1 straight path with a possibility that there's a way up or down underground. But despite that, its still great to see someone remaking it in first person. Its nice to see in a different perspective.
