it's rlly crazy to see the ntbts revival when i was deep in the 2016 mattjay trenches as a 16 year old. like genuinely it's been making me feel insane bc it's so sickeningly saccharine to have been obsessed with something as a teenager and for that piece of art to take on a new dimension as you get older and have it, 10 years later, still resonate bc you've had a childhood best friend since you were 12 years old that you got into so many shenanigans with as you grew older. and for the movie to have come out, like it's so scarily resonant for me.
