you don't have to blame yourself for not living the life you thought you would be living at this point in your life. you can be proud of yourself for making it this far even if your life looks vastly different from the one you imagined.

It really does get better. It gets better slowly, and it's never linear, but it does get better. Remember that you're on an upward trajectory even when it doesn't feel like it.

You'll get the future you want so badly. It's okay to be on your own timeline. You don't have to feel ashamed for taking a gap year, a leave of absence from school/work, or time off of whatever you do. Things will come together eventually. Take care of yourself first.
