rickās blue eyes were squeezed shut and his arms were folded over his chest. the leader couldnāt think of much else to do than just to stand there in silence. glenn was back with them, but they were still missing others. abraham and sasha. he ran a hand over his face. he shouldāve done more. fought harder.Ā
she had been wondering. Alexandria was rather huge, she was still adjusting. the place was showing her new things daily. being back home, with the people she trusted. it felt amazing, it lifted the weight she had felt. she hadnāt found out where she was going until she feet led her to it. rick had been the leader of the group since he had arrived. he was a much better one than shane was. she watched the older man, the man who was in silence.Ā āyou canāt change the past...the loss weāve had itās horrible. itās painful, and it will never leave. but, with the death of them it gave up another chance. donāt beat yourself up over it, it was fate.ā she spoke the honest truth.
Ladies of TWD Appreciation: August 06 - Sophia appreciationĀ
ericka sighed as she ran her hand over her bloody hair. sheād ended up caught in a herd and, in killing them and getting away, had drenched herself with blood that made her feel sticky and hot. when she saw someone approach, the short girl was quick to speak,Ā āiām not a biter,ā
her chocolate orbs looking to the grossly bloody mess in front of her. the pointy stick she held in her hand. she was ready to attack. when the person spoke up. she was taken back, the dead could not talk. had she lost her ever loving mind. it took her a few seconds to speakĀ āwhat do you want?āĀ
go look for fresh water, they said. itāll be fine, they said. well, it had been fine until he had stumbled into a dead guy ā that hadnāt been particularly fine. his attempt at running away hadnāt been overly successful either. while it seemed he had outrun the deceased man, he had also managed to crash into a tree branch, the force of which knocked him to the ground. ollie coughed, the air slowly reentering his lungs as he rolled onto his side.
looking at the male as he had crashed into the tree branch. a smirk braced itās way across her face. she wanted to snicker, grabbing her large hunting knife. she stalked over stabbing the walker, ending itās life. looking at the man who was coughing from possibly having the wind knocked out of him.Ā āyou okay?ā she spoke up.Ā
a sigh escaped from maggieās lips as she stood on the porch of the greene-rhee home in alexandria. it had been hers and glennās before everything, and now they were back - with two children and maggieās father and sister. maggie wished she couldāve been happy about that; she was, in some sense, but not entirely. how could she be? with the threat of the saviors still over their heads? she feared for her childrenās lives. all the homes past theirs had been given to members from the hilltop; her and rick had agreed theyād all live together and obviously still work together, but she would have control over her people, and him over his own. it was only fair, in her mind. her son was snuggled against her chest, wrapped up in multiple blankets. heād been fussy since theyād returned, and she figured it was because of the move. she was so lost in thought that when someone approached her with a question rolling off their lips, it completely flew past her.Ā āmāsorry,ā she began as she looked to them, snapping out of her thoughts.Ā āi didnāt catch that. whatād ya say?ā
it was great to be home. to around the people she had missed dearly. she had almost given up on ever finding them. the day she had stupidly ran off from the horde on the high way. she feared she was going to be alone. that they were all dead. but, she had been surprised. arriving and living in alexandria for a little be over a year now. she hadnāt spoken much to Maggie. maggie had left shortly after she arrived. she had joined the group after she had been lost. after they had believed she was dead. the bundle in maggieās arms, made her heart happy. sophia had always loved babies, even as a child.Ā āhappy to be back? i know weāve all missed you.āĀ though she did not know maggie, she considered her family.Ā
