hey! sorry for the (very) long wait, but we finally got a verified account that gumroad would deposit the money into. here’s the confirmation from the charity:

hey guys!!! this is just a quick update but we’ve been having trouble being able to actually receive the money through paypal from gumroad. it’s still in the zine’s account and everything but we haven’t been able to donate it just yet. (attached below is a screencap just showing that the money is still safe and sound)
we think we’ve figured out a fix but it’ll take a bit for my mom to take me to get a bank account and verify it with paypal but i’ll post an update once things are cleared up!! our first zine has certainly been a learning experience and we appreciate you all being so supportive of it and the time being taken to finish it.

After a long wait, the Be More Chill Digizine is here and ready! Celebrating the characters that stormed the musical scene last summer, this zine has 48 full color pages with pieces from 25 artists and four writers. PDF downloads are $5, with all proceeds from the fanzine going to the LGBT Foundation.
LGBT Foundation exists to support the needs of the diverse range of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans. We believe in a fair and equal society where all LGBT people can achieve their full potential.

It is now the 20th and we’ve made a total of 96 sales!!! The zine will no longer be available for purchase after this but thank you all so much for sharing and purchasing this zine! I will be donating all the money to the charity mentioned above asap and will make sure to make a post about that as well. Thank you all again!!!
I just wanted to say i got the zine and it's amazing! I was wondering if any of the artwork would ever be sold as like a poster or something. Even if it's only the cover (which can be seen without purchasing the full zine?). Thanks!
all the artist’s are free to sell their pieces however they please AFTER the 20th of next month! so yes depending on the artist!!

Jeremy doesn’t slouch anymore. His fingers itch for his jean pockets, but he still resists the urge. In chemistry, Rich wordlessly hands Jeremy the box of matches and turns his head elsewhere when Jeremy strikes the match and lights the Bunsen burner. When he sees Chloe in the halls, he smiles in greeting but finds himself looking away. She does too.
What happened to all of them was far from anything even resembling normal, and it shows in the cracks. It shows in their lives. It shows, and a part of Jeremy wishes he couldn’t see it. He could maybe fool himself that they were all fine, but they weren’t.
At least not yet.

“Yo. Come help me sort through this junk.” Michael was cross-legged on the carpet, the box fan to his back.
“What is all this stuff anyway?” Jeremy stepped over Michael’s discarded hoodie and plopped onto the floor next to him, already feeling his shirt sticking to his back. Ugh. August sucked.
“What remains of my fleeting adolescence, Jer.” Michael pulled a small plastic bin labelled ‘mementos’ towards him. “Be careful; you might get a vague sense of mortality on your shirt.”
“What?”
“Just sort,” Michael said, dropping a handful of photographs into Jeremy’s lap.
