So like, oh man, I just... I love Blythe and Maxim together???? They’re such trash vampires who know they’re hot shit and everyone should bow to them and I just can’t get enough???

Also like, these kids have been together for OVER A HUNDRED YEARS which is incredible tbh. I know Max has been around for about forty more years than Blythe, but like... idk... I feel like somehow there was an instant connection between the two of them that they’ll just never shake?

I know that Rhiannon is a lOT, so like, maybe that came from Maxim kind of, idk, protecting Blythe from her??? Like I can see Blythe being a brat of a baby vamp, much like Finn is now (Which is also kinda why she loves him so much!!!) and maybe getting on Rhiannon’s nerves a lot, and getting into massive amounts of trouble that Maxim’s charming smiles always got her back out of again???

Also! Esp since y’all know my man Ben Barnes is beautiful AF, I’m also pretty sure that somewhere early in their vamp lives, Blythe had a MAJOR CRUSH ON MAXIM. I don’t know when or even if she acted on it at all, but somehow I think it was sincerely unrequited and she kinda like... nurses that hurt a little even now??? Like, she loves Maxim a bunch, and he’s like family, but I feel like there’s maybe a bit of a distance, a bit of a wall that’s come up between them in the last few years bc of that.

I can also seeing that being a thing where maybe Blythe wasn’t in Fate for a good while! She like, maybe left off in some sort of weird huff that Maxim was a little ???? about, but then ten to twenty years later she shows back up on his doorstep, having kicked in his door like: “What the fuck up, you asshole, I’m back. Where’s the best party at???”

So yea, obviously I have a LOT of feelings about these kids, but please tell me yours!!!

lauren!!!! omg peter loves blythe so much!!!! idk how long they’ve been bffs, but I think peter’s romantic feelings for her kind of crept up on him and one day he was just smiling at her and was like … “oh shit” and since then he’s definitely been trying to keep his feelings on the DL but idk blythe has seen a thing or two in her day and I feel like there may be a good chance that she, at least, suspects how he feels???? idk thoughts?

As to how long they’ve been bffs, I guess it kinda depends on when Peter became bffs with Maxim? I feel like it was maybe a year or so after that, tbh. Mainly bc Blythe is an acquired taste, so it takes people a while to warm up to her, plus she’s extremely protective of Maxim, so probably wasn’t super nice to Peter until she figured out he wasn’t gonna mess with her blood brother. Then she probably turned on the sarcastic charm and won him over. lol.

Also Blythe DEFINITELY 100% KNOWS HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER AND THINKS IT’S HILARIOUS. It’s why she flirts with him constantly now to like, vaguely torture him??? But in all honesty she probably doesn’t want to hurt him bc he is her blood brother’s best friend in the world, but like, doesn’t feel the same way so doesn’t know what else to do?

(I need to talk to Kate about it still but tbh I think at some point Blythe had something like a crush on Maxim so like there’s that too?????)

But yeah, Blythe thinks Peter is a decent guy and enjoys casually flirting with him, but like... ugh... she’s really not looking forward to the day where he makes a dramatic declaration of love because she’s not about that life.
