hey y’all i’m francesca. i’m eighteen and i live in the est time zone. i love, love, loooove cocoa butter. it’s the best thing in the world. anyway here’s a little about my bby cyan. hmu for plotting or even like this.
cyan vanessa rivera was born on june 14th, 1999, which makes her a gemini. her life itself couldn’t more perfectly reflect the fact that she is.
growing up rather poor, cyan was taught how to protect herself, in case of anything going wrong. it didn’t mean that is would happen. it wasn’t bad, but you knew you wouldn’t leave your doors unlocked or wander to street once the street lights came on. despite all of that, she loved her home. it made her stronger than if she lived somewhere else, that’s for sure.
because of slight money problems, it was ideal for her to say in school, get a degree, then get a decent job. cyan knew what was realistic for her. most would say she was cynical. she wasn’t, and still isn’t, someone who dreamed big or expect herself to have a perfect life in the future. however, she always wanted to be a singer. she was good at it. most of the time she did it just for fun, playfully performing for her family or friends while they were bored. she never thought that it would be a career for her, but somehow, somewhere along the way her mindset changed, and she doesn’t want to do anything other than perform.
she felt like she was good, but if she really wanted to become big she’d need to make her sound, which meant she needed a professional. at that time, she tutored a child twice a week for about 50 dollars a week, but that wasn’t going to cut it. she knew she couldn’t ask her parents for money, and she wasn’t going to start selling drugs, so other than getting some retail job the only other thing was a strip club.
cyan already had a friend who worked at one somewhere in queens, so she thought it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. it was far away from her home, which meant there was no way in hell she’d see someone either she or her parents knew. she’d be making a shit ton of money, to do a strip tease for and grind on some old men. it didn’t seem like a bad idea, so a little after she became officially legal she started working. it paid for her lessons, new clothes and shoes, anything extra her parents needed before they suddenly moved, and the rest went to savings. she isn’t an idiot and knew she needs to also save because there was a 90% chance she’d never become a little star— which didn’t surprise her. it was realistic.
of course, cyan is a little suspicious on how exactly her family moved to their new home, but not enough to start asking questions. the less she knew of the matter the better off she’d be. not to mention she didn’t need her family to start questioning her either. for cyan, the worst part of her ‘new job’ is the fact she can’t tell her family. usually lying to them saying she works at some random ass place and anytime someone wanted to swing by her job she’d either make some excuse or claim she doesn’t work their anymore. it was just better for them to not know that cyan vanessa rivera is a stripper.
cyan is overall a chill person. she tends to be a little rude sometimes or have an attitude, but it’s cause she often replies really quickly, which seems like she’s trying to be snappy with someone. she very creative, loves poems and dances and of course singing. she often seems like she isn’t paying attention and that’s because she’s always trying to figure out a new song in her head— a melody or some lyrics. she loves a good party or smoke session. most times she’s chatty as fuck, but on a few occasions, especially after a rough night at the job, she’ll close up and not really talk. if she has bruises, she’ll make any excuse to how they got there. her go-to is a hickey.

∟ ° ✰ friends with lingering feelings ;; so basically the friends who obviously have feelings but don’t want to ruin their friendship or are scared to get into a relationship with each other esp given her job. she wouldn’t want to be lying so often
