I can't believe i have to say this.

in stories there are implications of events or identities, basically where a character says something that implies something "i know what you did in that bedroom, you dirty perv~" and the facts are that this IMPLIES that the character being reffered to had sex, HOWEVER i just stumbled across a tiktok that says that the fact its implied means its cannon, and that if you disagree and say its headcannon, then you're wrong. Let me just debunk this very simply: Implications are designed to ONLY be implications for a reason, unless they are confirmed to be cannon implications are headcannons of the creator, HOWEVER the problem is that implications can be misunderstood "i know what you are, you fucking liar, and i know this is not you" implies that the character being refered to might be a shapeshifter, or maybe trans, but we don't know, only when given explicit context on what is meant do we know that this character is being transphobic when being told "your a fucking tra**y and i fucking know it" BUT that line could also be "i will NEVER fucking trust shapeshifters like you, now show your true form" and suddenly its not transphobic, its distrust in shapeshifters. The example i have is jax from the amazing digital circus, the tiktok i found is saying that if you say that trans jax is just a headcannon, then your being transphobic or you are just in denial because there are strong IMPLICATIONS that jax is trans, BUT we don't know this for a fact, the true fact is that we are never explicitly told that jax is trans ANYWHERE, not by @gooseworx not by micheal kovach, not by the show.

the true fact of the matter is that until it is confirmed by someone from inside the show, or if the show gets another episode that confirms that jax is trans, we don't know. would it make sense that jax is trans? yes, after all looking through the series with the lense that jax is trans explains a lot, HOWEVER. WE. DONT. KNOW.

Because we don't know we shouldn't be calling people "transphobic" or in "denial" for simply agreeing that trans jax is a headcanon.

AGAIN, IMPLICATIONS DON'T CANONIZE ANYTHING, EXPLICIT MENTIONS OR OUTSIDE CONFIRMATION IS WHAT CANONIZES THINGS.

EA games has been known to be notoriusly greedy, this was obvious through every game they have ever made being filled with microtransactions, but this has officially gotten to the worst it has ever been.

I recently tried to play apex legends, learning that somehow my xbox account was removed from my EA account causing me to loose every single thing i ever payed for, earned or anything forever unless i play on my xbox.

I tried to go to support for this but the closest i have gotten to talking to a human is "make a case" which is automatically paused leading to it being autodeleted after 5 minutes, yes it says you can "chat to us now" but if you try it just does nothing.

What i am saying is that EA games have officially removed every fucking employee who worked on supporting the players, meaning all the money i have spent on EA games, can never be gotten back because i can't talk to a human to deal with this

update on customer service replaced with bots i recently bought a usb-connector to be able to play console emultaed games on my PC without my wireless controller blinking out of existence every other minute, when it arrived i learned that my controller uses an outdated usb connection type, a mini-USB, as opposed to the modern USB-C I go to amazon and attempt to return it, i go to the return page and my options are the following DHL express pick up - free

monty hall problem is as follows: door a b c exist, one door has car other two have goat, in this specific problem, the announcer ONLY reveals ONE door which ALWAYS is a goat. but here's the problem, what gameshow is ALWAYS going to open the door with the goat? that's just boring and ruins the damn stakes, it's not exciting if there's no suprise on the first round, sure it's not very exiting seeing someone lose immeadietly, but far more exciting than knowing they can't lose immeadietly, so in reality this shit is bullshit, and the only way it works is in the specific mathmatical problem itself, it's like saying i have three cards in my hand but i'll always show you the card you didn't pick that has the bad card, wheres the excitement? a better example is a revolver with three slots for bullets with one slot filled, if the first shot is always empty, then thats just boring, there's no suspense if it's always empty on the first shot or in terms of a story: a hero picks a fight with a demon and the demon lets it stab it in the heart, then the hero has to pick "will demon a let me stab it in the heart? or will demon b?" i will say, if this bullshit problem WAS realistic, then yeah, it's fair, its right, only time you lose by swapping is if you picked the car first, but no game show host is going to show you one of the wrong answers immeadietly, a realistic game show would be pick a b or c you pick b, would you like to switch before we reveal whether your door was right or not? and then this could be made interesting by switching, if they switch the door they PICKED was revealed, and the door they're on is left closed, that way if they switched to a goat, theres still another choice they can make, they're not forced into losing immedietly and they're not given the bullshit of "oh you have a 2/3 chance if you switch" because they don't, from the very get go they have a 1/3 because the door they pick could have been the door they wanted

Examples: Schedule 1, you hardly hear about it anymore Content warning Lethal company Peak Doom dark ages even mario kart world NOT TO MENTION AMONGUS All these games have two things in common 1: They all went extremely viral not too long after release, becoming the internets favourite game swiftly 2: They all lost virality within a month or two Hell, some even start to dip back into the niche hole it crawled out of And because these games suddenly become viral and then suddenly lose virality, it is likely very dangerous for game devs, especialyl indie devs, as that massive influx of money turns into the occasional steady stream of probably like £100 a month? unless they're game is expensive, meaning that the most important thing a game can do, is avoid virality, while also avoiding becoming niche, if it can do this the game can fully succeed, as an example of this: Titanfall 2 (as to my knowledge) never became viral, and it was also never niche, along with it's brother apex legends, never became viral but also never became niche Overwatch never became viral, but also never became niche terraria never became viral but also never became niche even ULTRAKILL never became viral, but never became niche and what do these games all share in common? they're still well known games to this day with a decent playerbase, overwatch did die a great ammount but not because of anything natural, because it was killed by their parents. The uk is currently living through a dystopian era, and i don't mean that lightly.

Today, The UK is currently living through one of the most well known and joked about dystopias, we are being so heavily censored that we have to hand over our IDs to even use SPOTIFY. If this isn't straight out of george orwells playbook, i don't know what is because this is slowly becoming literal 1984. Anything the government does not want you to see, they are making it difficult as hell to see.

Information websites such as wikipedia have been blocked, and wikipedia is especailly hurt as it's completely free to use, they can't afford to change because of these law introductions and the government knows it. And now even spotify has been affected, an app/website full of music, which is the essence of self-expression in public media, and this isn't where its going to end.

For now we still have access to vpns to get around these bans, we still have access to all sorts of news outlets, we still have access to youtube and games, but that won't last long if this doesn't end now.

The problem is with the society we live in is if we try to implement things to protect children it will lead us down a slippery slope into a dystopia, and i know, its ironic to hear "i don't want to live in a childfriendly dystopia where everything is baby" from an abdl enjoyer, but its true because unless the dystopia is everyone gets regressed, i don't want anything to do with it.
