I have a lot of feelings about the finale of the Boys but if there's one thing I think they did right......
It was making sure Homelander went out in the most pathetic way imaginable.
After 5 seasons of him being a cruel, petty, petulant, narcissistic, bullying manchild, and only getting away with it because no one else was strong enough to put him in his place, seeing him turn into a sniveling little bitch as soon as his greatest advantage was taken away was the perfect way for him to go out. The fact that it happened on live TV was just icing on the cake.
My only complaint is that Butcher ended it too quickly. He should have gone full Jason Todd with that crowbar.
It's almost enough to make seeing all his glazers cope and seethe worth it.

I get that y’all are really excited and want to share it— I am too! But it’s kind of a bummer when something you want to experience first hand is shown to you without any warning whatsoever.
i've been scrolling through tiktok and yt shorts because im bored out of my mind waiting for my poly to wake up so we can all watch TADC ep 8 together, and i have been spoiled on so many fucking things already, i don't even have to watch it through to the end, just a single frame tells me so much, and whats worse?
i've left comments saying #spoilerwarning on so many of these videos and the responses i've gotten effectively add up to: "oh it's been out for an entire day!" and "oh well you should get off the internet if you don't want to be spoiled!"
i get that i shouldn't expect zero spoilers on the internet, but i also shouldn't be forced off the internet to avoid spoilers for something that hasnt even been out for a full day.
ep 8 has been out for 19 hours, not even a full day, and i've been spoiled so much that i can effectively see how the damn episode is going to play out inside my own head, hell i've been shown something that i had no idea was even fucking possible in the world of TADC
Genuinely what is up with Gachiakuta manga readers and being physicaly unable to put actual spoiler warnings 🤨 did fandom etiquete just flew out the window with this one?
I just saw a Tamsy edit (iykyk) and the only warning was a little "possible spoilers!" in the description... possible? POSSIBLE???? You and I both know DAMN WELL that's more that just a possible spoiler ♡. Had I not read the manga already my experience would have been ruined, juts like the experience of all the people who did get spoiled
"Why don't people just go and read the manga-" WHY SHOULD THEY. Anime watchers have the right to, you know, ENJOY THE ANIME. They shouldn't NEED to go and read the manga if they don't want to. Adding a spoiler warning is not gonna ruin your edit I promise you 😮💨

Broken Melody of Twisted Darkness Chapter 31 "Darkened Soul Choir"
"What are you doing?!" and I turned to see --------, feeling anger infusing me.
"What's wrong ---------?! This is what you wanted wasn't it?! For me to be forsaken by my goddess, giving into the violence in my blood, and bringing darkness to all I meet?!" I spat coldly and --------- stepped back as I approached him, my bloody blade glinting in the fire blazing behind me.
"Not like this! Not hunting others blessed like you!" -------- spoke quickly,
"Well I guess neither of us is getting what we want are we --------!? I don't care if you warn the others or not, but I'm coming for every single --------- until they're all gone and -------- has no power left to be a god!" I snarled and -------- vanished as I brought my sword down towards him, making me yell in rage as rain began to fall, quickly soaking me to the bone as the tavern behind me collapsed entirely, the fire consuming everything.
Kai is a little um testy in this chapter

"I can look into it as well with the same promise of trying." I spoke quietly and Shadowheart smiled.
"All any of us can ever do isn't it? To try?" Shadowheart remarked kindly and I smiled nodding.
"Indeed." I spoke softly and Shadowheart finished her tea as the song of nature surrounded us.
A nice conversation end between Shadowheart and @shandoratheexplorer Tav, Aodhán who I was given permission to have in my fic. Still hugely honored on this one <3
Bloody Soul Shadow Moons Chapter 19 "New Moons and Anniversaries"
Ice ripped through me when I saw the cage again. No. No. This wasn't real! I was free! I shifted into the shadows and waited. --------- appeared and narrowed his eyes.
"Where are you whelp? Hiding from me will only make your punishment worse." --------- growled and opened the door as he came into the cage to look for me. I slipped around him and out of the cage, using the shadows to stay hidden before sprinting up the stairs silently and hiding in another room that was completely dark. I heard snarling and soon footsteps though muffled, stalked by the door. I smirked and stayed there.
I woke up and sighed as I rubbed my face.
"Just a bad dream. That's all Shadow." I whispered and got up to face the new day.
Another nightmare for Shadow, but was it real or not real?
