    He did his best to ignore the shouts.. He really did.. In fact, for a second he thought it might have worked. But if there was one thing he couldn’t ignore— It was being flipped like a spatula, face ungracefully meeting the wooden floor underneath .. That’s when he blood suddenly began to boil, and he pushed himself up for the sole purpose of screaming at his friend and nothing more.

“ HUHH—?? YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE HOW LONG I SLEEP!! ” 

    Grinding his teeth he found himself stricken with exhaustion, frustration, and confusion.. A horrible mix really.. “ WHAT’RE YOU GOING ON ABOUT!? WHAT WORK?! LET ME SLEEP!! ” Words dripped with anger as he lifted an arm in attempts to rip the futon away from his belligerent friend.

   Inosuke couldn’t help but to chuckle some at the mark fresh on his companion’s face, releasing the futon and instead placing his hands on his hips and puffing out his chest. Yes, Zenitsu could certainly try and ignore all his ruckus, but Inosuke wasn’t shy at all when it came to physical attacks, so that was no solution. 

            “Whaddaya mean ‘what work’!?                  We got demons to hunt!      And if you don’t hurry and get your ass up, I’m gonna go after ‘em without ya!”

    Answered the masked boy, stomping his foot a few times before promptly turning away, and heading to the other side of the room to grab up his swords.

Is he seeing things? Is that someone with a boar head literally? upon further inspection he could see the seams and admits, to himself only that it is a good costume over all. But the wearer on the other hand, had made his training and point very clear, alas there was some things he had to be doing but… 

 “…… There are other ways of training thats faster for your muscles then ramming yourself against a tree.”

… “Ever tried lifting boulders?”

       When the man spoke, Inosuke froze up yet again, but only for a short time before snapping and glancing back over to him. No one else was around, and he was the only one throwing himself against the tree, so, the guy had to be speaking to him, yeah?

     “’course I have...!” 

   He managed out, squinting beneath his mask. 

         “This is just how I’ve always done this stuff!”

It was time for her to come out of her hiding spot within the mountains. The blazing sun had finally set which allowed her to hunt in peace. There were always people wandering out at night, especially criminals. 

As she traveled down the mountains ready to eat the humans that she needed, she encountered a strange…human…boar? person wielding two swords and shouting. 

!!! Oh no. It had been awhile since she encountered someone who she could only assume be a Demon Slayer as most humans wouldn’t dare to leave their home at night.

Her eyes burned a bloody red, she wasn’t interested in fighting the other. “Please leave. I don’t want to hurt you.” She said turning her back to him. She had no interest in eating demon slayers. “Go run along and kill some other demons. I’m sure there are other stronger demons around here.” she said shoo-ing him away. There wasn’t anyway she could convince him that she was a “good” demon. So it was always better for her to avoid the situation entirely. 

                         “Tch!    You can’t just shoo me away after I took the time to find you!”

    He exclaimed back, raising his sword up high and stomping a few steps forward, as if trying to intimidate the other. For what it was worth, the demon didn’t seem entirely feral, but how could he trust that? The only ‘good’ demon he knew of was Nezuko, after all. Every other one was just hungry and shitty and desperate for power, as far as he knew.

            “Just ‘cuz there’s stronger demons around,       doesn’t mean I’m gonna leave even a pipsqueak to scramble for safety!                                   I’ll take you all out!”

    Inosuke is understandably disoriented when he awakens in a completely new bed in a completely new location. He’s hurt, and is gonna need a lot of rest; that much is obvious from when his body first regains consciousness and all his muscles start to ache. It’s gonna be a pain in the ass for him to have to settle down after entering a fight he had to push himself so hard for...At least it paid off somehow. 

   Next, it struck him that this was not the Butterfly Estate, but seemingly a different hospital entirely. The sweet scent of wisteria brushed his keen nostrils. Regardless of where he was, it seemed to be safe. The final thing he took notice of was some older guy tending to him. His vision wasn’t at it’s top performance, of course, but that wouldn’t stop him from squinting at the stranger. 

       “Oi...” 

    He managed, albeit croaky in getting it out. 

       “Where’re the others...?”

      “Oi, oi, oi!!” 

    Inosuke stormed into the room where Zenitsu was at rest, voice as loud and clear as one could get it through a mask like his. He stomped up to the side of the other boy’s futon, crouched down, and grabbed ahold of the edges. With a mighty puff, he flung the mat over onto it’s side, intent on waking the other that way if his thunderous entrance wasn’t enough.

          “Up and at’em! Up and at’em, already!    You’ve been sleepin’ way too long and we got work to do!”

          Inosuke was much more of a act-rather-than-watch type of person as anyone would know from being around him for more than two minutes, but strangely enough he was fixated watching the winter pillar train. He can’t recall ever seeing a demon slayer that fought with fists, and as someone who had equal experience in both tussling with his body and with his blades, he was curious about the man’s techniques...

     Inosuke briefly thought he had been hitting his tough skull too hard when the older man came into sight. The boar stiffened up, becoming uncharacteristically quiet. He was focused fully on Shinuro for a couple of seconds. Inosuke wasn't completely familiar with the late flame pillar's family, but he knew of it from one of Tanjirou's recollections of his various exploits.

     He had briefly thought the man that stood before him was Senjurou. And although he knew it was a stupid, desperate notion, even if he thought it would be totally awesome if by some miracle the flame pillar rose from the dead, he was almost disappointed once recognizing it as his father. With a huff, he turned back to the tree he was working a dent into. He wasn’t sure what Shinuro was hanging around here for, but it probably wasn’t for him...Besides, looking at him made Inosuke sad, which he most certainly didn’t need while he was trying to get pumped to train.

  Is the first thing Inosuke greets the stranger with, marching up rather confidently, though still keeping a hand on each of his sheathed blades. 

   “What’s your deal?    You’re not a demon slayer, are ya?”
