The Emperor finding Angron half lobotomized and with a terminal brain disease is probably only kind of into the idea of servitorising all the primarchs + giving them brain cancer so he doesn't have to develop an extinction plan for 17 psychopaths. Really after Mort seething about kill stealing for their whole relationship - Why go involve himself in petty murders unless he gets something out of it like obedience. Theres no reason to help him. His actions in that situation actually seem logical to me so it's kind of confusing why people think its a plot hole.

Hello! I saw your most recent Mortarion artwork great art! I know he's an enuch here, but I was curious what do you think of the intersex Mortarion floating around? I think its very cool i just wanted to see your thoughts

I assume all (primarchs) to have some disorder of sexual development, seeing as they're infertile and intended tools of influence for the Emperor rather than independent organisms. Maybe the absorption rate of having their parents around them directly influences their mutation into adults with not only racial and physical characteristics but also sex so that'd influence their sex spectrum but none are just normal.

I just think of mort as castrated as it'd be interesting for him to be normalised to a xeno standard anatomically by his original father as such he's missing essential organs that other primarchs possess. Explaining his comparatively frail state and thinking his serious aquired disabilities from being disected a billion times are just normal life. Maybe he'd get typical phalloplasty\reconstruction of his organs sexual and internal, if he had an idea of what it was supposed to be instead of being made to resemble Necare as everythings painful and messed up. If he was developmentally ambiguous, androgenic or estrogenic then either way he would still get 'corrected' by Necare and end up with the same result as an adult.

I've been drawing Konrad really disgusting like (out of mild amusement) and am interested on reducing potential conflict with his burgeoning self ship insert whatever fandom. Like I'm drawing him with such greasy hair that it makes him look like he's going bald. I'm sure some of you would like that in a husband but it seems potentially mildly offensive probably a tr4f nuke tho.

Him being artificially disgusting is part of the character, the reason why he's such a horrible person in comparison to another psycho that grew up without human influence (Ferrus, mortball, lion) is that he actually did grow up in human society just the part where you're constantly rejected and unfitting a vermin perma hobo person. With this understandably being the cause of his frenzy - he cannot connect on a social, aesthetic, familial or status way to other people so he just tries to be right, he can force comfortable predictable interaction with the common folk by purposefully terrifying them (taking agency of their disgust and rejection) while intellectually jerking himself off that he's the most righteous victim on earth and that the stress/trials his need to be right and control others is just part of him being #1 martyr of justice so he has reason to pursue this goal. He has the vague notion that somethings wrong but either the lack of capacity or unwillingness to ask why he's like that or try to change the outcome so he just plans on fucking everything forever until the end but at least seeing the last line. I guess a reasonable option in his position.

Mortarion WIP, being armoured up kind of like a bugs chrysalis being built, I also wanted to draw him mutilated and messed up from his upbringing etc. = the tender bitter grub inside of the shell and such 🤔
