OCtober Day 7: Likes

Some of the people who Desa likes :) aka an excuse to draw a whole bunch of my OCs at once

From left to right, we have: Regah, Oasis, Kaien, Kippi, Desa, Iryna, Sabrel, Pyessa, Tahrent, and Dian

More about all of them under the cut !

Regah is the barkeep at the place where Desa met with clients and did some of her work in her time as The Bell. She and Regah ended up being quite good friends.

Oasis is an apothecary who Desa made friends with early in her career. She made poisons for The Bell, and Desa continued as one her regular customers even after retiring as an assassin.

Kaien works at an orange grove quite far away from Fareneth, the city where Desa lives. But she's Kippi's sister, and Desa met her while they were both visiting Kippi's family.

Kippi apprenticed as an assassin under Desa for a few years. They first met by happenstance, but despite herself, Desa found herself really liking Kippi. He's a really funny and earnest, and respects Desa a lot.

Then there's Desa, of course :)

Iryna, better known throughout her country of Eyra as Aei Deive (which would roughly translate to "holy one descended"), is revered as a god in the religion of Feirenism. Desa is a devout Feirenist, and when she gets the opportunity to do a job for Aei Deive, she accepts. As she works, she becomes very close to Iryna.

Sabrel is Aei Deive's chief advisor. She's a very logical person, and excels at her job. Desa ends up liking her a lot for her straightforwardness.

Pyessa is a school teacher, and is also Kippi and Kaien's parent. They work in a government funded school, and teach on Feirenism there. They're a strong believer in the religion.

Tahrent is Pyessa's husband, and Kippi and Kaien's father. He works as a scribe, and, like his spouse, is a Feirenist.

Dian is a member of the Holy Guard, working to protect Aei Deive. He joined the guard after Desa had become its captain, and earned her favor through his eagerness to do a good job.

THAT'S EVERYONE! I'm really glad to have been able to get so many of my OCs in here, even if I did go with a really simple style for the drawing. It makes me happy to see them all together :)

At first I was just going to draw Desa today, but after seeing her like this I couldn't NOT add Iryna

I have some questions for you! Do you have the actual height for Desa and Iryna? 😆 Oh and I can see sometimes you draw Desa with longer hair and other times with shorter hair, is that a design change or different moments in timelines? I've started looking into the tags to know more about them and I'm only a few posts in but I have questionnns

I am ALWAYS happy to answer OC questions <3 ! I have their heights written somewhere as Desa at 5'0"/152cm and Iryna at 6'3"/190cm i believe... my short and very tall queens.

And yes, Desa's hair length changes a lot! It's a little above her shoulders when she first meets Iryna, and then grows out from there - but honestly I usually just draw whatever length seems most fun to draw in the moment. So there's no science to it, just trying to have fun :)

OC-tober Day 25: final day of social week

Here is Desa, the lovely oc of @bobomcfoe!

I took inspiration from how Desa's role was described in the swap prompt: "assassin turned confidante". So here she is sneaking into a bedroom window... is she going to attempt an assassination? Or just to have a fun sleepover? You decide!

I had a great time creating this one! I'm prepping for a big Halloween party this weekend so this got delayed a bit and I didn't get to render it fully, but I like how it turned out.

Joyride volunteered to make target practice a little more interactive XD, Desa is patiently explaining the differences between various styles of throwing knives and Kath is trying very hard to seem cool and impressive :)

bweird OCtober Day 23: Community Week Day 4!

Today I decided to draw the lovely, the wonderful, the show-stopping, @bobomcfoe 's Desa!

Just a simple shot, some downtime... perhaps she's waiting for someone, or just observing!

She is so stunning and so so compelling as a character, I simply needed to draw her! Hope I did her justice!!!
