TRASH trash woman..Trash woman
It really pisses me off that naberius tern, who trained his whole life to use the rapier, will never know that Gideon, who nearly beat him, only trained with it for three months
But it really makes me sad that Aiglamene, who kept disarming Gideon in three moves during training and declared her up to the standard of the worst cavalier, will never know she disarmed Magnus Quinn, a perfectly respectable cavalier, in three moves.
Saw lots of posts touching on this topic and decided the axes for me are: truly understands who House is <- -> maintains a delusional fantasy version of House toward which they apply their emotions + hates House for who is/who they think he is <- -> loves House for that
Not perfect, complete, or inarguable (whatever's going on with Huddy cannot be contained by a mere arrow, and Thirteen is everything at once) but a starting point for how I think about these characters.
Kutner 100% understands House's soul but is too busy playing World of Warcraft to do anything with this information. Chase instinctively understands House and cannot decide what it means. Foreman understands House but hates understanding House so he acts like he doesn't but he does but no if you saw him empathizing no you didn't!
Feel free to add on! Also if anyone has the brain energy I currently lack, an image ID would be much appreciated <3
I keep seeing posts on my dash about how House and Wilson are definitely having sex but Iām so Alfiepilled that I canāt help but think āyou people are wrong. this is the dynamic of two people who absolutely arenāt having sex and thatās part of the problemā.
people who actually have sex with each other arenāt like that

***This post contains heavy spoilers for the Ryugenzawa Arc and the Nodoka storyline through Chapter 384. English scans read left-to-right and Japanese scans right-to-left. Sorry!***
In chapter 275 of Ranma 1/2, Ranma tells a rival for Akane's affections to "take care of her" before leaping to almost certain death. Pretty standard stuff, a staple scene of action movies everywhere, right before the hero sacrifices himself to save the girl he loves. Except that the macho bravado of the moment is subverted by the fact that Rumiko Takahashi renders Ranma's physical form, in this scene, as a beautiful, sorrowing girl.
Sapphic overtones aside, this moment has stayed with me because it holds the series' ideas about gender conformity, and specifically masculinity, up for inspection. Throughout the series, Ranma is preoccupied with being a "real man" and is famously out of touch with his emotions. Most of the time this character trait is played for laughs, but the series does hold a fair number of moments when Ranma expresses genuine vulnerability, and oftentimes Takahashi draws Ranma going through these scenarios in his girl form.
Before I go further, it is worth mentioning that I am by no means claiming Ranma is in his girl form any time he displays emotion or moments of vulnerability, or that vulnerability is the only kind of emotion girl-Ranma displays. Rather, I am saying that Takahashi, as a storyteller, often makes use of the gender swap device to heighten the emotional impact of a scene and that, moreover, the emotions that Ranma bodily expresses as a boy often differ in their association with gendered attributes than the ones he expresses as a girl. As a boy, Ranma expresses anger, belligerence, confusion, comically rendered fear - all "active," masculine-coded feelings. On the other hand, during moments of sadness, uncertainty, acquiescence, or some sense of loss, when they are not played for laughs or as a setup to a gag, he is often drawn as a girl. Even though Ranma is constantly trying to return to being a "real" man, Takahashi repeatedly undercuts the idea that this is a good and worthwhile thing to aspire to.

dandadan is the coolest fucking thing ever
i've said it before and i'll say it again, but it's really neat how similar wen ning's and lan xichen's rants (at jc or wwx respectively) are
a usually reserved and mild-mannered character
going apeshit for the first time
on behalf of their loved one
who, as they think, is being horribly mistreated by the target of their rant
(even though the loved one endured some great hardship for the sake of the target in the past)
and so despite knowing that the target isn't aware of their loved one's suffering
(and the speaker themselves being involved in inflicting that suffering)
"WELL THEY SHOULD FUCKING KNOW ABOUT IT, THEN"
they deliver the truth in the most accusational way possible
to make the target feel bad and leave their loved one alone and stop causing them harm
while, crucially, not knowing that the target cared about their loved one just as much
and, whether or not it was their goal or they just wanted to hit someone with a steel chair, resolve a decade-and-a-half old misunderstanding between the target and their loved one
"he'll never tell and you'll never ask, FINE THEN I'M DOING IT" is such a funny character motivation too. not their circus but they've had fucking enough of the monkeys

the best part of all of this is non mob psycho viewers forming a blood feud with reigen over this without knowing who he is or what he has done
on the offchance there are people who have never seen mob psycho reading this post i feel like i need to clarify that this is a character who:
- is a conman pretending to be a psychic using a real psychic (the real psychic is 14) (he pays him 300 yen (about $2.60) for his services)
- has literally one adult friend. his other two are a middle schooler and an evil ghost that fucking hates him
- is extremely skilled in a number of fields (photo editing, massage therapy) but chooses to pretend to be a psychic because itās more interesting
- once single-handedly de radicalized an entire wing of a terrorist organization by telling them they were acting like children and needed to get real jobs
- has never lost rock paper scissors
- got drunk off of literally lemonade with no alcohol in it
- got exposed as a fake psychic on national television and was subsequently cancelled on twitter
- reacted to a terrorist organization of people with literal superpowers taking over the city by saying they should call the police and not moving to action until he learned that fire insurance wouldnāt cover the damage to his office
- got trapped in a purgatory dimension for 28 days because he couldnāt suck up his pride and admit to his newly hired employee that he had no idea how to get out
- made a website
- it looked like this
