So Long and Thanks For all The P*rn

Too many feelings about this whole Tumblr experience. Sure I was here for the porn, but that was never really what this was all about. Porn is art, end of story. It’s a primal, a reflection of our basest desires. It is a seeking through visual, the expression of fantasies that we feel calling on a fundamental level that some of us may never fully understand. If it doesn’t evoke a reaction, it isn’t art, so in my mind, porn is art. It’s where freedom of art meets freedom of sexuality, and we’re living in times where there’s a war against both. Once again though, that’s not what this was ever really about.

For me it was about the community. The life changing friendships that I’ve built along the way. The support of seeing that I am not alone in this world, and gaining the confidence to accept and explore my own sexuality. I am not alone in this. It is what, at its core, made everything that was built here successful, and now that is gone from here.

It will of course move on, communities will be rebuilt, friendships will be found again and life will go on. Things won’t be the same again, but then change is a part of growth, so I hope with whatever endeavours people embark on from here I wish them well.

I am not deleting this blog. If it disappears, it was not an action on my part. I will continue to check activity, and use it as a point of contact for all those I have gotten to know over the years with whom this has been the primary method of communication.

I will continue on in one of the many up and coming replacement platforms. I’m already on sharesome, bdsmlr, and pillowfort. I am bobqdevil everywhere I go.
