this  is  gross  but  it’s  fact.      his  mouth  collects  more  saliva  than  other’s  due  to  his  quirk,      in  general,      he  can  just  produce  more  saliva.      his  saliva  is  thicker  than  regular  saliva  as  well      &      tingles  to  the  touch  due  to  it’s  healing  abilities.

CANON      :      an  incident  that  stuck  with  him  .

he  knows  how  it  feels  to  have  his  throat  cut.

a  villian  got  upset      &      attacked  him  in  his  own  clinic,      they  slit  his  throat      &      left  him  for  dead.      thankfully,      the  cut  was  not  very  deep      &      he  was  able  to  heal  himself.      there  is  a  scar  across  his  throat      &      he  hates  being  reminded  of  it.      in  general,      he  isn’t  very  touchy  but  there  was  something  about  the  feeling  of  getting  his  throat  cut  open  that  stuck  with  him.      after  that  incident,      he  closed  up  shop  for  a  few  months      &      reopened  it  later  to  ensure  his  safety.      HE  DIDN’T  REALLY  FEEL  LIKE  LEAVING  HIS  HOUSE.

due  to  that  situation:      he  doesn’t  like  his  neck   /   throat  being  touched.      he  may  react  violently  if  someone  touches  his  neck,      even  if  they  meant  no  harm.      sharp  objects  being  held  to  his  throat  will  cause  him  to  break  down  in  tears      &      may  cause  a  violent  reaction  as  well.      he  doesn’t  like  treating  throat  related  incidents,      he  is  just  all  around  not  okay  with  his  throat  or  anyone  else’s.

❛      jeez...      it’ll  help  it  heal  faster.      it’s  not  like  i’m  just  going  to  spit  on  your  arm,      i  have  it  in  professional  tubes.      it’ll  be  applied  like  any  other  healing  ointment.      ❜      this  reaction  isn’t  uncommon      &      he’s  had  people  leave  on  him      (      without  any  pay  !      )      he’s  had  people  react...      more  violently  as  well.

CANON      :      every  oc  needs  a  tragic  backstory  .  :3

when  he  was  a  child,      his  family  was  brutally  murdered      &      he  was  almost  killed  but  his  quirk  kept  him  alive  long  enough  for  the  police  to  save  him.      he  was  stabbed  in  the  side  while  he  slept      &      his  blood  worked  to  heal  the  wound  despite  it  being  pretty  deep.      since  he  was  doing  nothing  else  but  lying  there  in  pain,     it  was  able  to  keep  him  alive     &      didn’t  let  him  bleed  out.      this  is  how  he  discovered  his  quirk.

he  found  doctors  fascinating      &     they  told  him  while  he  was  in  the  hospital  that  his  quirk  would  be  useful  in  the  medical  field;      that  made  him  want  to  become  a  doctor      &      save  people  the  way  he  was  saved.      he  ended  up  developing  a  hatred  for  heroes,     which  caused  him  to  rethink  helping  them  in  the  medical  field.      WHY  SHOULD  HE  HELP  A  BUNCH  OF  MONEY  HUNGRY  FAKE  -  HEROES  ?      he  took  it  upon  himself  to  use  his  quirk  for  a  different  cause      ;      villains.

instead of a verbal response , he holds up his hand . it looks like he’s making a peace sign at first , but then the bones in his fingers start to crack  —  they turn inwards until the tips of his index  &  middle fingers are nearly touching  &  the rest of the bones are shattered enough that they bend into an unnatural inwards curve . then , quietly ,   ‘   ——  it’s a heart .   ’

❛      aw  !      if  you  keep  that  up,      i  could  fall  for  you.      ❜      his  smile  brightens,      blowing  a  kiss  towards  his  friend  before  resting  the  back  of  his  hand  against  his  forehead  in  a  dramatic  motion.      edogawa  wishes  he  could  do  something  that  cute  for  taro,      but  his  quirk  doesn’t  have  many  cute  options;      if  any.      a  shame.
