Fun fact: while recovering from an injury in 2004, Nikolai Tsiskaridze spent some time teaching at his alma mater, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. There, he got to work with Natalia Osipova.

Today (Dec 31) is the birthday of Nikolai Tsiskaridze, one of the most unique and remarkable danseurs to ever come out of Russia. Also, the kind of man who, when he’s told to get a lawyer, goes out and gets a law degree. Literal definition of zero chill. Smart as a whip. Beautiful soul. 

Happy birthday, homeboy! I’ve always got your back!
