Another Bokumono Exchange comes to a close! Thank you to all our talented participants for taking part in this. As of right now, I have no concrete plans for when/if the next exchange will take place but I will update if I reach a more definite decision. Obviously if there are any other events that take place within the fandom (or within the Rune Factory fandom) I will help promote, or if anyone wants to run their own exchange I can always offer my insight and answer any questions regarding how i moderate these events. Until then, happy farming!🧑‍🌾🌞

I'm having thoughts about something I could do to help the HM/SOS fanfic community over here... 🤔 definitely gonna sleep on it and let it marinate, but...

Any interest in like, a Bokumono Beta Reader matchmaking service?

That's at least the most succinct way I can think of putting it. People who are interested/available in being Beta Readers can add their name to a list, probably have some check boxes for what they're comfortable checking over (ie characterization, specific games, spelling and grammar, etc.). People looking for a Beta Reader can tell me what they need help with. Little cross reference and I can say "ask so-and-so if they're available"

It could be done. Idk if there's much desire for beta readers in the fandom anymore. These days I think most people proofread their own stuff, but honestly a fresh set of eyes can be So Helpful. And like. I don't think I know anyone in any fandom advertising their services as a beta reader (granted i haven't looked). But it used to be a thing when I started writing fic almost 20 years ago.

Helllllllllooooo @faerlumie I am your @bokumonoexchange partner! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm pretty partial to m!protag/bachelorette pairings so I could absolutely not resist writing for one of your favorites, but my favorites as well! I know in game, Oracle does not divulge her real name to you until marriage but I decided to take a slightly different route with it and couple that with exploring their relationship and the beloved Starry Night Festival. I really hope you like it; I'm so glad to have finally written for them and getting to share it with someone else who likes the ship as well! 💖💖

Phillip invites Oracle to spend the Starry Night Festival with him in Bluebell, not accounting for the fact that she's still nervous about being around the townspeople.

It turns out she's not the only one with nerves; there's a lot on Phillip's mind and in his heart that he's yet to express to her, and this night seems as perfect an opportunity as any.

I tried combining your prompts of first snowfall and a romantic night out together! I'm a sucker for yuri ships and I don't think I've ever seen anything made for Karen/Claire before, so I wanted to take a shot at it. I designed their winter attire by myself and based it off of the main colors of their outfits from the original FOMT.

I really hope you like it! Once again, sorry this took so long. Don't end up with a bad migraine attack followed by a bad round of the flu. Stay healthy my friends!

He had meant to get out of bed and get started on a new hypothesis on how to capture that maleficent beast of legend, but yesterday’s excursion had not only damaged his pride, but so too did his health take a hit. Exhaustion weighed his bones down to the bed where he was left to overheat under his own unbearable temperature. His muscles, carefully curated to defeat a monster of myth, could barely lift him an inch.

Woe was such a fate to befall a scientific mind!
