KADENA FANFIC - CHAPTER 1
"Do you like any other show?" Kat laughs as she glimpses at the Friends episode playing on the TV.
Adena has spaced out, she's completely engrossed in the show - so much so that she doesn't hear Kat drop her bags and find her way to the couch beside her.
"Am I gonna have to dress like Rachel just for you to notice me?" Kat whispers, faking an offended tone.
Adena giggles, she pauses the show and turns to her girlfriend with loving eyes.
"We both know I prefer Monica," she jokes.
Kat rolls her eyes, she smiles and looks down at her lovers lips, craving the touch of them. She leans forward, slowly, and gently grazes her mouth onto Adena's.
Adena smiles into the kiss and bites gently onto Kat's bottom lip.
Kat pulls away and smirks, "I brought you leftovers."
Adena's eyes light up "ahhh," she pecks the other girls lips before leaping out of her seat and towards the bags on the table, "Richard is such a good cook!"
Kat watches on as her girlfriend plates up some food and puts it into the microwave to heat it up.
"Did you tell them how sorry I was to miss dinner?" Adena asks from the kitchen with a mouth full of food.
"Richard had to leave half way through for some emergency meeting, so it was just us three gals in the end."
Adena walks back to Kat with her plate of food and a wide, hungry, grin "that sounds nice."
Kat agreed, after confessing that it would've been even better if her other, third, favourite woman had been there too.
Adena unpaused the show and once again became entranced by the TV. Kat felt her heart warm at the sound of her lovers laugh, and spent more time watching Adena than the show itself.
"Your eyes are burning a hole in the back of my neck baby." Adena states as the episode came to an end, she had noticed Kat staring at her ten minutes ago and was almost sure she hadn't blinked once.
Kat ignores the sarcastic comment and decides to peck at the hypothetical hole on Adena's neck. Her girlfriend pulls away from the attack and laughs.
"What's on tonights agenda?" Kat asks as she mischievously steals a bite of food off of Adena's fork.
"Your turn to pick a movie," Adena looks to her empty fork and back at Kat with annoyance, "please don't say.."
"Pocahontas!" Kat squeals in a child-like tone.
Adena laughed at how predictable Kat was, she always knew what she was thinking and what was about to come out of her mouth. Although, she actually didn't mind watching the film for the fifth time this month, it meant that she could spend more time admiring her lover and exploring her thoughts - instead of analysing everything wrong with said Disney movie that for some reason her girlfriend adores.
Kat jumps up from the sofa and heads towards her dresser, she climbs out of her clothing as her girlfriend watches on, amused.
Adena let's her tired eyes search up and down for each and every curve of her girlfriends body. She subconsciously bites down on her lip and grins as Kat throws her jeans onto the floor.
"I washed my white t shirt for you, I know it's your favourite one to sleep in." Adena hums as she rests her head on her girlfriends shoulder and wraps her arms around her waste from behind.
Kat let's her head fall to rest on her girlfriends, "I only like to sleep in it when it smells like you," she whispers back innocently.
"That might be the sweetest thing you've ever said," Adena says gently before placing her lips onto Kats, "but please put it on, I won't make it through Pocahontas if you stay in just your underwear."
Kat feels a warmth strike her from within and winks at Adena playfully, she smiled kindly and took off her bra. She teased her girlfriend with her bare, naked, chest before reaching for her favourite of Adena's T-shirt's and putting it on - slow enough for Adena's eyes to linger on her C Cup breasts and toned stomach.
"Such a tease, Kat Edison." Adena huffs before making her way to the kitchen and placing her empty plate in the sink.
Kat smiles to herself proudly, strolls towards the TV, and turns on the beloved movie.
"The best film, ever." She speaks to herself.
The girls were half way through the film and Adena was... more than half asleep. Her chest is raising and falling in unison with Kats, who is looking down at her innocently with a smile spread across her cheeks.
"Let's get you to bed." Kat whispers to her sleeping girlfriend.
She picks her up, with a struggle, but manages to not drop her on the short walk from the couch to the bed. After placing her gently onto the bed, Kat reaches for the covers but is stopped by a sleepy voice.
"I don't want them, I want you" Adena declares in her dazed slumber.
Kat's smile grows even wider. She looks back at the TV, still playing her favourite ever movie, and back at the love of her life, half asleep.
"You're lucky I love you." She whispers as she makes the decision to snuggle with Adena and not return to the cartoon playing only a few feet away.
"I'm so lucky" Adena breathes out as she begins to fall back asleep.
Kat wraps her arms around the sleeping beauty, holding her tight enough to let her know she's there but not too hard to wake her up. She kisses Adena's ear and then rests her head onto the pillow, the scent of her girlfriends shampoo clings to the tiny hairs inside her nostrils, and sends her to sleep.
