It's a strange sight, the god leaning back in their chair, eyes closed and brows furrowed. A weariness radiates off them, thick and in waves. They're not quite asleep, but they aren't awake either, some strange middle state.

Yet, despite this fact they remain in their mortal form, with not even a visual ripple to signal discomfort. In fact, when the door opens they don't even move, not a flutter of their eyelashes. How odd!

It's almost like they're a completely normal human, and not some unhinged eldritch god.

"Whoops~ Sorry~" Though that giggle didn't seem to have much sympathy in it. "Honestly I thought you'd notice me coming. Aren't I one of your favorite subjects to photograph? Figure you'd have your eye on me more often."

A rather mischievous chuckle, though, for maybe a part of her was speaking to more than just Harper herself. Hands finally let go of her shoulders, walking over to take her seat right next to the other woman.

"Well first off, tell me how your hunts are going? Find anything new that's caught your interest? Or are you still struggling to keep yourself from being a target? If it's the latter I can help, but I'm not sure how that eye of yours is going to react to my magic directly. That's what I'm trying to figure out."

"Can't deny that, you are the prettiest damn thing for miles around." The words leave her, practically a purr, before they switch back to something more casual. " But, what can I say, I musta had my head in the clouds. Though that hardly seems like a good excuse to ignore you."

The corner of her lip curls upwards, and a smile blooms over her face. One eye flashes shut in a cheeky wink. Releasing the straw she tugs the camera between them, flicking the screen on with deft movements.

"Hunts are going good. Gotta say, lotta weird stuff going on round these parts. I mean not that I'm complaining. Keeps me on my toes, and you know I love it." She pauses, clearing her throat as if avoiding something. "As for being a target, eh, it's only small time stuff coming after me at the moment. Nothing that I can't handle myself. Not to mention I don't fancy pissing off big man, they'll take my eye if I push my luck."

Idly she flicks through buttons, and images of strange beings entangled with humans flicker on and off the screen.

"I mean, they don't much like me hanging around you anyway, but they let me do it because it means they get to see you."

The smile grows more cheeky, aware that only she could get away with saying that and even then she's pushing her luck. Her eyes glimmering in the overhead lights, something swirling in that purple eye of hers.

"Anyway, enough of talking about the old folks, what news?"

The sound of them slamming their fist into the wood of the table, echos around the small hollowed out room.

"Stop squabbling." The god commands of the three hooded folk before them, all of which go rigid the moment they hear their gods voice. "He's not here now, and therefore you've wasted my time. I don't care who's fault it is."

With a click of their fingers one of hooded cultists begins to tremble, their body slowly moving into convulsion. Bones break and flesh tears till there's nothing but a pile of gore and fabric mingling on the floor.

"Do I make myself clear?"

There's clamouring as the last two members rush out of the abandoned building and toward whatever goal they had previously been set before the god's head rolls. Sharp crackling filling the air as the glowing mauve eyes settle on the person that had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Come on now, stop lurking in the shadows. Let me see you."

Fingers mindlessly twirl the straw of her drink, causing the ice cubes inside to clink softly. On the table beside the modest yet delicious meal, the camera sits, switched off for now.

Through pursed lips, she lets out a quiet huff. But her slowly batting lashes reveal that her mind wanders elsewhere. It's not until she feels the fingers on her shoulders that she snaps out of the trance, a barely bitten back yelp escaping her.

"Shit, you cannot be doing that." She bemoans, her tone full of mirth. "Come on then sit down, tell me this big news."

I want to write a thread where nyar is possessing Bellamy and the other person knows Bel and is like hey theres something weird about you and nyar trying to play it off entirely

This could be a like agreed pre-established relationship with bel too

So anyways--

When Nyar gets possessed by a family member they remember every single thing that happens to them. All the pain, the discomfort, the memories...all of it. It's like they're a spirit, watching their body go about their business.

So, when Nyar possesses Bellamy, they wipe his memory entirely, leaving only the suggestion of what has occurred. Bellamy will not feel any pain or discomfort till Nyar has left the body, and he is left to handle the aftermath.

Its unclear if this gesture is an act of kindness, or if it is merely Nyar understanding the mental damage it can inflict upon a mortal and wants Bellamy's brain as intact as possible.
