Amy Winehouse, 2004
Realizing when I was timid and shy I was also complete self obsessed and focused even if yes there was loathing and trauma there I really was deeply deeply self centered in a way you can only be in order to convince yourself you're cursed because the universe is punishing you specifically cause you matter more
Freeing myself every day of the just wanna blend in don't wanna stand on my opinions or be seen and known false modesty that is just a cover for unhealed self betrayal and hatred

“Cleaning the House” painting by Sally Welchman.
With every soul lost, hospital bombed, and home razed in Gaza, a Palestinian woman has been stitching it on a tapestry – a cross-stitched testimony of the past two years of Israel’s genocidal war.
From Ramallah to Lebanon’s refugee camps and as far as New Zealand, Palestinian women are embroidering 100 panels for the ‘Gaza Genocide Tapestry’ – a collective record of loss, resilience and the world’s silence in the face of a live-streamed genocide.
