yk, i'm really not happy here. i want to be, but i find myself doing nothing but mostly complaining about how toxic this community is over and over. leaving and coming back constantly... it's just an unhealthy obligation atp. remaining on this site feels like beating a dead horse. i'm infinitely happier on toyhouse and discord tes communities that are smaller and healthier. sooo many of yall have told me to not let the assholes win, but im afraid they are not worth my energy enough to even stay on tumblr. i've only had a handful of people be gross towards me, but it's jarring when it's the same people who go around harassing SO many others. calling this behavior out will just result in drama and no progress here, unfortunately.
there's no winning or losing. i just think most people here are mean, quite frankly. why stay around if we've normalized this kind of behavior so much?
i can ignore them, yes - but to be very honest with you guys, i struggle with very severe c-ptsd, and any sort of stress caused by people is extremely debilitating for me. i'm not at the part of my healing journey where i can just rationalize it and move on. :( i need safer options.
i have my tes server with over 60 members who are SO awesome and kind - and i want to invite any of my mutuals there who wish to see more tes stuff and interact with a very awesome and open community elsewhere. i truly don't care about keeping tesblr alive anymore. </3
i know it seems ironic as i have a post complaining about tes servers, but tbh? it's mostly tesblr tes servers. i'm not gonna let those previous opinions of mine stop me from finding a community somewhere else

regarding my comic Everlong: @bonestrewncrest will be taking over the sideblog and posting pages for me when the time comes. i wanted to make an announcement about how we are mixing our canon universes together. it's still happening, and you will be able to see it here and on many other sites! but only Rory will be sharing any of the Everlong pages on Tumblr specifically.
regarding me: i'm still very active on toyhouse + the toyhouse tes oc group, deviantart, instagram, furaffinity, and discord (lobocanthropy). Everlong will be posted on all of these sites, as well as some more in the future!
a lot of my mutuals will be getting dms from me where i'll share my discord in case this post isn't seen. this blog will stay up. i do not mind having a presence here, but it's about time i make myself happy and stop continuing to do so

been doing some research for @tes-tarot... i find it very funny that Aspen trees are used as an anti-theft herb in real-world magick, only for them to be found only in the Rift in Skyrim, of all places. xD not sure if that was on purpose or merely just a great coincidence
IRL Barberry being used in magick for "cleansing, sorcery, atonement, freeing oneself from the power or control of another," which you could assume insinuates to curses, hexes, etc...... TES Barbleberry being used as a powerful diuretic in anti-venom.

I was discussing in my TES Discord how my Miraak looks more normal compared to other designs, which was purposeful; it was to emit some false sense of normalcy and freedom after Miraak "escaped" Apocrypha in my canon. The markings on his face slowly fade, his eyes - while now a mossy, inky green - are back to normal. He is passable as human. As mortal. here are some doodles regarding his appearance.
After the Last Dragonborn dies around 40 years after Miraak had regained his "freedom", is when it's revealed that Mora, of course, still has a tight grip on Miraak's soul. That - that is what Miraak looks like when he dies, and his soul is forever trapped in Apocrypha. A grotesque mix of a draconic humanoid, the simple stained skin that seemed to almost fully fade, now turning into a vessel for Mora's eyes to watch through him. It's under his skin. He cannot breathe due to the thick black ink that suffocates his insides; his Voice, his power, is stripped away. It's quite literally drowned out.
The First Herald's neck injury from where Vahlok originally slit it open is now always an infected, oozy, irritated gape. Mora wants to remind him of where he truly belongs, and how he got here in the first place.
I fully think that a Dragonborn's soul resembles a dragon, if there are no other major Daedric influences. Robin, my Dragonborn, has a soul that resembles an Eastern dragon (small doodle comparison, art by me):
If Miraak had been slain by Robin in Apocrypha, his soul would have remained mostly Draconic in nature... it is his resistance to Mora that lead to the Prince deciding not only to take his soul back after death, but to visually corrupt him as a reminder - he may be the First Dragonborn, but he is Mora's Eternal Champion above all else.
Thank you to my partner Rory for helping me get this mental image out on a canvas. I feel sick and ill but I cannot let Miraak have a happy ending (especially when he's given 40 or so years to try and live domestically in my fic. keyword "try"). It feels like a disservice to his character and his themes of fate and entrapment. :(
Take this as Mora's last laugh, if you will. A permanent and dreadful "I told you so" - you cannot escape the prince of fate.
(also Robin's adopted daughter Kro becomes the new Champion, and has to share Apocrypha with this wretched ass beast that was once a father figure to her. have some doodles i did. sorry)
