Single but secured 🤗😁♥️
Hey love, singleness is not a sickness.
“Mag-pasko na lang wa ghapon kay uyab ."
"Choosy tali ka, di ka kaau gwapa."
"Taas siguro imong standards, mag-settle ka na lang."
"Boring siguro imo life kay nag inusara raman ka."
To be honest, I live in a generation where I felt like being single means being incomplete, unlove and unchosen. Those are the lies that I believed from the past, having a partner will not make you whole. But if you're in this season of being pressured, here's my reminder for you.
No, never settle for less.
Just because your family and friends urge you to be in a relationship. Just because everyone is doing it, doesn’t mean it’s right. Just because you want to brag it on social media that you have a partner already. Just because you’re afraid of being alone. Just because you want to have late night talks with someone.
Make use of your time, talent, and treasure while you're in this singleness season. There's so much more rather than just waiting for the right one, become the right one first and I tell you, you'll attract the person who you want to become.
I may not guarantee that God will give you someone, we call it "single blessedness" and that's totally good to give your whole to Christ. But if God wants to bless you with a partner, then that person will help you grow.
The right one will make you love yourself even more, because there's no competition and insecurity, you'll be his a teammate.
The right one will make you love your Creator even more, because He is the source of love. He will not distract you with your relationship with the Lord but he will inspire you.
The right one will not be perfect but he will strive to be Christlike.
So do yourself some favor, save yourself from another pain again. Honor your season of waiting for the unknown. Give back your shattered heart again to Jesus and piece by piece He can make you whole. Be secured in His love that is constant, He is the only one that you need, so go back to your First Love.
Let your prayer be, "Lord, you're more than enough, having a partner will just be a bonus."
