“Love you too, Tiny”
debracarter:
“Except he doesn’t because…he’s not letting me be there for him, Bonnie and I…I don’t know what to do.”
“He doesn’t let anyone be there for him when he’s grievin’. He’s always been that way. When Al died, he closed off completely - our mom was the only one able to get through t’him. He and Al were thick as thieves and Janet? She was his best friend too.” A pause, just so she can keep herself calm “He’s lost without her, Deb. We’ve gotta find him and bring him home.”
@bonniefraiser
“I’m worried about him, Bon.”
“Me too, kiddo. It’s gonna be alright though - he’s got us.”
Debra hesitates for a moment but finally manages to knock on the door. "Bonnie? It's Debra... Fraiser. Can I come in?"
“Sure, you can come in — but that lump of a brother of mine can stay on the porch.”
“He owes me a bottle of wine and he ain’t comin’ in til I get it.”
debracarter:
“I uh…actually I’m here by myself. I thought maybe we should get to know each other a bit better.”
“I’m an open book.” A loud snore comes from the living room and Bonnie can’t help but laugh, shaking her head “Don’t mind Ben sleepin’ over there. Go sit in the kitchen, I’ll make us some drinks.”
“You want tea, coffee or somethin’ stronger?”
Debra hesitates for a moment but finally manages to knock on the door. "Bonnie? It's Debra... Fraiser. Can I come in?"
“Sure, you can come in --- but that lump of a brother of mine can stay on the porch.”
“He owes me a bottle of wine and he ain’t comin’ in til I get it.”
No words. No questions. Nothing other than Janet getting a very, very tight hug from one Bonnie Fraiser. [bonniefraiser.]
She’s so focused on icing the cake on the counter that the sudden feeling of arms wrapped around her takes Janet by surprise. She’s faced with the awkward situation of not knowing who has their arms wrapped so tightly around her; she can’t exactly turn around thanks to the embrace so she squirms just a bit and tries to glance back over her shoulder, though she fails miserably.
“Please don’t take this wrong way but … who are you?”
“Your pops explained it all to me, I’m not gonna take it the wrong way.” Bonnie’s got that unmistakable Fraiser smile. She’s so ridiculously happy to see Janet that it takes her a good few minutes to pull back, but when she does, she doesn’t take her eyes off the younger woman. They can start fresh.
“Much to his dismay, I’m your pops’ sister. Bonnie.”
"You must be Bonnie," Debra said, a smile on her face, "Ronnie's told me a lot about you. I'm very glad to finally get to meet you."
“Ah, you must be the famous Debra. The pleasure’s all mine.”
debracarter:
“Famous am I? Well I promise I’m not nearly as bad as Ronald has said.”
“Honey, if he’d said bad stuff, I wouldn’t be smilin’ as much. Guy don’t shut up about you.”
Sam's poking her head in curiously. "Hi, are you Bonnie Fraiser?"
“Depends. Who’s askin’?”
"You must be Bonnie," Debra said, a smile on her face, "Ronnie's told me a lot about you. I'm very glad to finally get to meet you."
“Ah, you must be the famous Debra. The pleasure’s all mine.”
