(2017) Pennywise X Reader short story
You first met Pennywise in the shadows of Derry, a nightmare masked by a clown’s grin. He circled you like a predator eyeing his next meal—cold, calculating, hungry.
But something about you was different. You didn’t tremble or scream. You met his gaze with steady eyes.
His crimson lips curled, amused and intrigued. “You’re not like the others,” he whispered, voice dripping with both menace and curiosity.
For days, he watched you, waiting for the moment to strike, to consume. Yet, each time he approached, your courage—and something inexplicably tender—held him back.
One evening, as the fog curled around the abandoned playground, Pennywise appeared before you, the hunger in his eyes battling an unfamiliar warmth.
“You’re not just food,” he murmured, tilting his head, the menace fading into something softer. “You’re… fascinating.”
You reached out, trembling but brave, your hand brushing against his painted cheek.
His smile faltered, genuine emotion flickering in his monstrous eyes. “Maybe… I don’t want to eat you anymore.”
And just like that, the monster that feasted on fear found himself consumed by something far more powerful—love.
