Y’all finally get to know who Victoria and Lord Barkis is. Yea it was pretty obviously gonna be Shelly y’all clocked that but a surprising amount of u guys also guessed Bowl boy for Lord fuckhead goods jobs.
This took a while bc I’m not super happy with their designs but it’s fine I’ll probably be drawing them in different outfits the whole time anyway. Shelly got monster legs and a tail bc I say so. And Bowlboy is a creep nothing new.

Now that the wedding is finally over,I can post this silly little headcanon idea that I've been thinking of for a while!
I was inspired to make this little 'guide' by @lotus-doodles-04 's Dish culture headcanons. You should check them out, it's really neat!
Anyways..let's begin!
What are Etchings, anyway?
In the unique biology of the Dish Toon, the skin is more than just a protective layer—it is a record of history, lineage, and devotion. These intricate patterns, known as Etchings, are permanent scars carved deep into the dermis. They serve as the primary visual language for the species, typically manifesting in a pigment that matches the individual’s eye color.
I. Familial Etchings
For a Dish Toon, identity begins with the family. Newborns are born with a protective ceramic glaze over their eyes that obscures their vision for the first two weeks of life, so they cannot rely on mere facial features to recognize their caregivers.
Instead, parents lean close, allowing the infant to memorize the specific, high-contrast patterns of their Facial Etchings. These marks—found primarily on the face and hands—act as a biological "signature" that the baby will begin to memorize.
While infants are the primary "readers" of these marks, they should never be the recipients. Etchings on a young child are a grave societal taboo and a physical sign of distress or mistreatment.
Only when a dish toon reaches physical maturity (typically ages 15 to 17) do they receive their own Familial Etchings. This coming-of-age ritual signals to the community that they are a recognized member of their lineage. In social circles, displaying these marks is a casual, platonic gesture of affection—the visual equivalent of a warm greeting among close friends.
II. Intimate Etchings
While Familial Etchings are a public badge of identity, Intimate Etchings are a private testament to devotion. These are not granted by elders, but are exchanged between spouses or long-term partners in a display of vulnerability and trust
The process, known as "Forging," is a significant milestone in a relationship. Because the skin of a Dish Toon is resilient, carving these marks requires intent and precision. The recovery period often lasts a week or more, during which the partners care for and nurture one another as the new pigment settles and heals.
Unlike the marks on the hands or face, Intimate Etchings are strictly private. Located on "vulnerable" areas such as the back or thighs, they are rarely seen by the public. To show one's Intimate Etchings to a stranger is considered a massive breach of social etiquette, as well as disrespect to their partner.
III. Ceremonial Variations
Beyond the bonds of blood and marriage, Ceremonial Etchings exist to mark specific achievements or roles within Dish Toon society. While less common than the other two types, these patterns often cover the torso or arms, acting as a permanent resume of the individual's contributions to their community. A common practice within ceremonial etching is covering one’s cracks/ battle scars with intricate etches, showing the marks off as a badge of honor and test of resilience.
These marks are the least taboo to be displayed to social circles, or,I'm some cases, strangers.

CUPHEAD+SONIC AU!!
Tonic The Hero!
Tonic is Cupheads alter ego. He made the name up as a kid and just went with it. (His brother taught him how to do the face paint he wears). He is able to run at super sonic speeds, able to take out almost any enemy with pure force! And he protects all of Inkwell against Diceman aka King Dice.
Tonic teams up with his fellow heroes, and also his closest friends to help take down any enemies that the evil dice throws their way!
While Tonic may seem outgoing and extroverted his friends don't often see him out of costume. (Chalice didn't believe he wasn't blue until they were almost drowned!) Cuphead usually keeps his personal life to himself and enjoys a nice day at home in Wave Ocean, sitting on his patio staring at the sea is usually how he spends his afternoons.
He keeps a lot of secrets. Mostly for his friends safety and others for more selfish reasons. He still has some books to close and maybe a few to open.
And who knows maybe on the way he can learn to trust his friends more.
Just long as his life stays the same he can keep moving, right?
